Hell yea DA.

On a similar note, there were quite a few hideous Detroit fans in attendance yesterday (including the drunk likes-to-fight guy in front of me that didn't have a belt and mooned everyone) but BOA was LOUD from where I was sitting.  Although I will say the Panther fans in the section directly behind the Detroit bench were awful. Sitting on their hands the entire game.

I have friends that are Steelers fans.  We all probably do.  Mostly because the sign in Pittsburgh probably says something to the effect of "Welcome to Pittsburgh.  We're moving."  Stand by your friends.  Be there for them.  Be a great friend.  But leave them the EFF at home.  If you had a friend who was an alcoholic, you probably wouldn't be like "let's go to the bar and get slammered."  So you probably shouldn't tell your friend, who has an obvious problem, "dress like a bee and come to Bank of America Stadium to watch your step-grandfather's favorite team get stomped in front of the whole country."

Don't be a bad friend.

I can't figure out if this will be a better than average game for steelers fans or below average.

On one hand, lots of PSL holders will be selling.  Lots of people don't want to be out late on a school/work night.

On the other hand, we're 2-0 and panther fan interest in ticket re-sale ought to be high, while the steelers don't look so good so their interest in buying tickets might be lower.

    • Reasonable. I mean I didn’t see a clear path to relief this season myself. As I have typed already, I think the QB FA class is more interesting next season and that draft is supposed to be stacked as well. There just weren’t many options this year.  When you have Tepper to contend with you have to tread lightly around this unless you are 100% certain and willIng to stake your job on it.   There were a couple of outings that helped Bryce a lot in terms of  thinking maybe he can do this, and if you are a supporter you are giving them a lot of weight. You are likely to think just get him some more help and he can do that every week. Which I think Tepper falls into that category.  And the playoffs, division champs, regardless of the way I see that, the supporters will also give that a lot of weight.    And the big one, the atmosphere In BOA for that WC game, Tepper had to be soiling himself over that. If you pulled Bryce out right now you had better be right and your new guy had better make the playoffs and look good doing it or you will be gone and your chance to build your old team back into respectability will be gone too.  So here we have Pickett on a one year deal, and Grier and King. I understand it.
    • Well, seeing as we play the Lions at home this year, pretty sure that rumor isn't true.
    • Totally possible imo, I also caught that snippet from Morgan where he said “If” we sign him. The lack of competition says otherwise tho 🤷‍♂️
