Colin Ferrel and Vince Vaughn?

I'm hyped for Colin Farrell. He's an insanely underrated actor. With that said though there's a lot of ways this could go wrong. Vince Vaughn and Taylor Kitsch don't exactly get me excited about the show and it's going to be pretty hard for them to follow up the stellar first season.

I'm cautiously optimistic. Excited for Farrell, and I like Vaughn...I just don't know if he can pull off a serious role for an entire season. Klitsch, meh. He's been bad in some things, but maybe he can find his place in a gritty show like this.

Everytime I see people on a forum complain about entertainment casting I remember back to all the outrage over Heath Ledger announced as The Joker.

Perhaps watching some of Vince's hard to find dramatic roles would change your mind. He's actually pretty good.

Let's not forget where Woody Harrelson started- a goofy, naive bartender on 'Cheers.'

Anytime he tries to be serious and talk about a murder or whatever I'm just gonna be thinking of this:

He did well in Clay Pigeons and as a detective in Serial Killer movie The Cell(which had it's moments.)

And if you checked out of True Detective season 1...i feel you have cheated yourself out of what I consider the most anticipated week to week show I ever watched. It was mostly perfect in my opinion.

Mini series shows like this and American Horror Story are my thing. No AMHS thread yet?
