Phedopfile alert

Another Charlotte neighborhood is on alert after witnesses said a man approached a child and may have been trying to lure him into his car.

The 8-year-old boy was on his bicycle on a Sunday morning in the parking lot of the Westside Apartments on Freedom Drive when a silver car pulled in and the driver told the boy to come over.

“The car was pulling in and the little boy was standing right there at the end of that truck on a bicycle,” said Michelle Sports, who yelled to the boy to leave.

Instead, she said, it was the driver who left, abruptly backing into Freedom Drive and speeding away. She is convinced that he had more than a chat in mind.

“I think so, because the way he backed out into the highway....you just don't back into the highway,” she said.

But less than an hour later, the silver car came back and before it took off again she was able to see that it had a South Carolina license plate. The next day, she passed that information on to the manager of the apartment complex.

“I wrote a letter and sent it out to all of the tenants (and) posted it that day to be on the lookout for a silver four-door car with South Carolina tags,” Teresa Deal said.

Deal wondered if the same driver may have tried to lure another child last week, after she saw the story of a man in a silver car with South Carolina tags approaching a child in the University area.

But the description of the drivers in the two cases appears to be very different—one is black, the other white—and police do not have enough information to connect the two.

Still, she is warning parents in the small complex to watch their children.

“Keep them down in your parking lot area, where you know that they're OK,” Deal said.

Pedophilia is genetic. It has been around forever and will be around forever. You can kill every pedophile and there will be a million more pedophiles in the future. It's just part of the human race and the evolved  brain. Dolphins also engage in rape and child rape..

Maybe someday there will be antenatal testing to find things like autism (which i believe is linked to pedophilia) and pedophilia and people can chose an abortion like they do with down syndrome cases. Really pedophilia is so bad even if you could only discover it after birth in youths, maybe one day it'll be legalized to put kids down who show signs of devloping it.

    • So Willis had a good game against a poor defense and all of a sudden he is worth 50 million and is guaranteed to be better than Young. LOL I know he looked good in the 3 games he started, and I think he will have success long term, but anyone signing him up for a long term contract for 50 million is taking a huge risk.
    • Is he really though? Rivera was past his prime and probably shouldn't have even started 2019 so his firing wasn't really unexpected or unwarranted. Rhule lasted two and a half years which was about one year too long in my opinion. Bringing him back that third year certainly wasn't impulsive and I would say Tepper was more patient than he should have been. Wilks finished out that third season and did pretty good but most everyone could see he really wasn't anything more than an intern HC. Bringing him back was not the long term answer so not bringing him back was the correct call. Hiring Reich was a mistake from the beginning and he recognized that fairly quickly. I am sure he knew he was going to catch a lot of sh*t for firing him so quickly ( and boy did he ) but it was absolutely the right thing to do given everything that was going on. The firing may have looked impulsive, but I think it was him recognizing he had royally f*ck up and just dealt with it instead of letting it fester.  That brings us to Canales. 2025 was only his second season and yet he delivered 8 wins and the NFC South title. And while that might not sound great, given the lack of talent and cap space they started with, it's a strong step in the right direction. I couldn't imagine Tepper not being pleased with their progress given the crap the Panthers' have been though under his ownership.
