people may get upset for me posting this, but if newton threw to benjamin at even the slightest hint of him having a chance to catch it as frequently as anderson does, benjamin would be a lock right now.

you mean against backups? yeah that's be awesome if teams started their bench warmers the rest of the season

KB needs to have a breakout game which he hasn't had yet. Players like Walter Payton, Steve Smith and even Moose a little bit there would turn into the aggressor after the catch or handoff. A nice stiff arm etc. You do that you get YACs. KB already has a little of that there and I'm sure at his infancy here he's just trying to catch it. He ads that he'll be a true NFL beast!

I think DA is more accurate than Cam.

Cam sailed quite a few in the Packers game.

After the start Cam had, something like 2-10, I would say he settled down nicely, close to 60%. Cam had his shakiest start of the year, for sure. But with the year he is having, only a small portion of fans would hold the bad start against him.

Also, DA did not have to face Mathews or Peppers, and he did play against 2nd stringers. Give Cam that situation. I dare you.

I have been pleasantly surprised there were no "Start DA" threads this week. I thought for sure when he took us down for a TD folks would go all herpy derpy over him again. Way to go rationals.

    • No saying he mostly sucks is saying that he doesn’t suck the minority of the time.   Like if he took 17 tests and had a couple of really good showings and a handful of pretty good scores sprinkled in among the typical sub par results.   Like a golfer who went out and shot an 89.  There will be some real nice shots sprinkled in there but at the end of the day it is still 89.
    • It's worth mentioning... Game 1: Oct 11 in Raleigh. 4-3 OT win with a complete starting lineup. Game 2: Dec 13 in Philly. 4-3 SO win without Jaccob Slavin. Game 3: Dec 14 in Raleigh. 3-2 SO win with a complete starting lineup. Game 4: Apr 13 in Philly. 3-2 SO loss with the AHL roster.  Those early season games were no indication of the Canes team that finished the season. Miller and Ehlers were still trying to figure things out, Nikishin was still a work in progress and the Stankoven line was just another line. Make no mistake, the Canes team Philly will see is nothing close to what they saw at any point in the season. If the top line starts producing, Freddie stays hot and the blue line does what it does, this could be a sweep as well.
