How do you feel as a Panthers fan if John Fox and the Broncos win the superbowl?

John fox is just the DC. Manning is the HC of that team

A mod or the OP should just change the title of the thread to this, lol.

Or, make a "what does Sean Payton actually do for the Saints D" thread?

Or, "what does Rivera do for the Panthers O" thread?

Lots of the responses here are posted with pure jealousy and spite.

wuh?

you really think john fox isn't some kind of repressed offensive genius who was held back by lame quarterbacks and a bad GM in carolina?

Hard to believe huh?

For those of us who had the "privilege" of hearing Fox pontificate about his offensive philosophy, it seemed we were somehow transported back to the 1950's with Marty Mcfly. Sadly it wasn't some wacky comedy scifi movie, it was Panther fans' retrograde reality for almost a decade.

Your dislike of Fox couldn't be more obvious. And no matter how the OP phrased it, it can't be more obvious the purpose of this thread was to ask if one would be pissed off if Fox wins a Super Bowl. Thus, I laugh at anyone who blames the lack of this team's success during his time here ... on Fox alone. But, in some people's world here, our lack of success WAS due to Fox and his success in Denevr is not due to Fox.

I enjoy the fact you think I try to be "edgy" though, when in fact I'm actually just expressing my personal opinion. You know, the same type of opinions you ask for me to deal with in your first paragraph.

you need to actually find a way to dispute anything football related i said in this topic rather than just rehashing your original premise that like anyone who doesn't think john fox is a great coach and deserves credit for denver's success is totes jealous and bitter.  as far as i'm concerned you're just trying to derail it into dr. phil level pseudo psychology which is infinitely more dumb and worthless than anything anybody has posted in here.

really i want you to say right now that denver wouldn't be as good if john fox wasn't there.  if he deserves any credit for their success then that should be an easy thing to say, right?

i've gotta admit though, in my heart of hearts i am jealous.  i'm jealous of pey pey and the way denver's front office has built that team up.  hopefully our GM can replicate that success as he's been part of super bowl winning teams before himself.  i'm not sad or butthurt that john fox isn't here though and i've laid out plenty of reasons in this thread for why i believe what i do.  so far nobody has been able to provide a compelling counter argument, least of all you.

e: almost forgot-you are the biggest tryhard on this site.  sorry.

Well it wouldn't bother me if Denver won since I like Peyton and want to see him at least match Eli for amount of Superbowl rings. I'll be honest and say that if it came down to the Panthers vs. Denver for the Superbowl of course I will cheer for the Panthers but unless we are completely blown out it would sting a lot  less if it was a loss to Peyton. If it was Denver minus Peyton then it would suck highly to lose to them and not because of Fox being the coach.
