I can't do it anymore. The Huddle is notorious for spontaneously assembling phalanxes of oatmeal-brained fopdoodles after ugly games, especially in the fuming cesspools of gameday threads and chat sessions where every incomplete pass is a catalyst in the witches' brew of tepid intelligence quotas, but I'll be god damned if the Facebook groups don't make this place look like a motherfuging Mecklenburg-chapter MENSA conference.

Literally every post is a malcontent that works at a scrap metal yard in Wallburg, NC fighting his way through semi-literacy to thumb-mash a run-on sentence about benching Cam followed by legions of forty-five-year-old white woman with "i wanna speak to a manager" haircuts and names like Nancy Boykins Thomas and PeteNstacy Stanley that capitalize LOL in all their responses posting disheveled one-liners about attitude. Today pushed the frothing masses of GED rejects and part-time middle school janitors over the edge and my Facebook page is overflowing with linguistic sewage that makes Kolkatta's slums like like a Waldorf-Astoria penthouse suite.

The point being, the Huddle's worst is the best of the rest, and I'll stick with that.

am I the only one that thought carolina played decent.  just have to get into the endzone.  Carolina went 12 rounds with the super bowl champs and was a half a qtr away from walking away a winner.

Yeah they played decent but the way we managed the entire game set us up for failure. Teams playing defense like we did today can always keep it close. But when it comes down to the last 2 minutes and you have no answers on offense or defense. It's draining.

The d line was gassed in the fourth you could see it. I have no problems with the players they put it out there today. Yeah cam made mistakes but Wilson matched them. Coaching was the difference today.

    • Would absolutely love to have him. I dont think he would require more than a 5th rounder. The biggest thing with his contract is the amount of guaranteed money. As long as they can work out and scenario where the Panthers aren't on the hook for a lot of that, I think it's a no-brainer. The Panthers can come up with $20M at the drop of a hat with restructuring Moton's contract, so there definitely isn't an issue from a money perspective. Jaycee paired with Ramsey along with Mike Jack would give us one of the best CB groups in the league. The one caveat I see is that safety still remains our biggest current weakness. We need a starting caliber S more than CB, simply put. But adding someone like Ramsey would be amazing as long as the compensation made sense. Ramsey could also play for FS snaps also. I also dont understand this nonsense about being seasons away. We have a QB on a rookie deal who was playing at an elite level to end last season. Within reason, now is absolutely the time to make moves like trading for Ramsey.
    • He'd be a huge upgrade for this year, but we're still not going to be contenders with him and I'd rather keep the cap space to roll into next season to spend on a younger player who can be an impact starter for us for the next 3-5 years while we're hoping to contend.
    • Because playoff hockey and regular season hockey aren’t the same thing.  It’s a combination of the game intensity being dialed up with loose officiating.
