The GM needs to have a press conferance

They usually poke their heads out about eight or nine games in, so lets hear what he has to say. I have supported him through out this collapse, but it is getting harder to do so. Rivera will only give the same old BS comments that mean nothing. The GM needs to step foward and address this situation. This fanbase deserves to hear from him. Enough of the rhetoric and excuses from the underlings.

Nothing he says is going to change anything. We knew the offensive line was bad months ago.... Years ago. Yet nothing has been done, when you have a car or really anything in life in general it is cheaper to keep up regular maintainance than to let it go and have to fix everything all at once. And essentially Thst is what has happened with our offensive line. They're not good, no push, no protection, you can't succeed like that.

It is his job to face the music concerning personal decisions. I would like to hear his response to questions concerning the offensive line etc. That is if any of the beat writers would actually ask the proper questions.

No one in the local media would ask him anything remotely resembling a hard question. It would be 30 minutes of the fat ass sitting up there with that smirk on his face offering up cliches and excuses. Basically nothing different than what we get from Ron every week.

he'll only sip water, answer questions by not answering questions, look down and say, "Jonathan, you know we can't discuss these things"..., clear his throat unsuccessfully 20 times, and see RR sit on his lap as he goes into ventriloquist mode! screw this... its gotten old very quick.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
