Norman / Bene next season.

I think Bene makes his way up to starting corner based off his early play. Another offseason under his belt and he is ready.

Pretty solid young duo corners, no?

I agree. Our secondary has the potential to be much better with 1-2 young, solid additions. I believe Bene, Norman and possibly White could be the cornerstones of a very good secondary with more experience. I would like to see us try White at SS/FS where he excelled in college. I just don't think he has the speed @ CB maybe he'd do better at safety IMO.

Bene has been promising, but Norman has just been so up and down throughout his career that I have a hard time trusting him to the point of penciling him in as a starter next season.  If Norman and Bene end up as the starting CBs, that's great, but I hope Gettleman doesn't count on it.

I think Bene is better suited at nickel. Moving Bene to the outside is doing the Captain situation all over again.

Ideally Norman is our #2, Bene stays nickel and we find a #1. Obviously those aren't easy to find or come cheap so that's an issue. Maybe Marcus Peters ends up being BPA when we're picking.

If Norman continues to get better, he will be an elite corner.  I mean how many corners have the stuff to stop the run?  Norman has shown he can do that, and cover like a playmaker.  It's also rare that a player goes from being chastised by coaches (and fans), to having good success.  You want those kinds of players on your team.  It shows you their work ethic.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
