Who benefits more?

Derek Anderson will be squaring off against the Bucs defense for the second time this season.

Derek has a better idea of what to expect from the Bucs defense.

The Bucs have a much better idea of what to expect from Derek, as they didn't even gameplan for him the first game as they thought Cam was starting.

Who benefits more from this?

50/50

the benefit to us should be that we get to gameplan knowing further ahead of time that DA will be starting.

what negates that benefit is shula doing the game plan.

aside from that, both know what to expect. they also know what to expect from benjamin...and by they, i mean both DA and the bucs.

I agree with both sides benefiting.  I think the Panthers benefit the most.

Bucs cause they can adjust as they know D.A will be starting. Hopefully the offense I saw Sunday and it was a more modernized offense if you watch the film is what we'll go with from now. We should win. Having Tre instead of DeCound, Bene and Norman starting helps this defense to atleast give our offense chances

DA will deliver. This game is gonna be filled with emotion and will by the Panthers. The city will rally behind the performance and it will ultimately set the stage for Superman's return. If your headed to the Bank on sunday make sure you turn up to the max!

I love the enthusiasm but unfortunately our stadium will be half full.

I'll be there, drunk and loud as usual.

Bucs. Cam was just starting to get his legs back and running well again. The offensive they ran last weekend was like nothing I've seen this year. D.A is a good backup, but the threat of having to contain Cam is gone. If they can't get Stew and the running game going to compensate, it will be a long day. Hopefully Anderson can pull it off one more time.

    • PJ's completion % was 63% when starting games in Carolina.  Which I believe is better than Bryce when starting.  And again, 4-3 as the starter here and the LONE QB Carolina has been able to actually win with in the Tepper era.  If you ask a gambling gunslinger to come into blowouts.....they are going to go down in a blaze of glory.  Which he would do.  Yeah, he isn't good.  And gunslingers are supposed to have rockier stats than checkdown QBs.   So....why does PJ Walker have a better comp % as a starter than Bryce Young.  And for every knock you want to make about PJ, you can find something or a skillset that PJ does better than Bryce.   I didn't say PJ had good field vision.  He doesn't.  Tell me about Bryce after he comes off the first read lol.  Let me repeat, PJ Walker is not a good QB.  He is NFL depth and an in house arm.  Bryce Young doesn't belong in a convo w/ Jake and Cam.  He belongs closer in a convo with the backup caliber QBs Carolina was forced into playing.  Which isn't just PJ Walker.  But Kyle Allen.  Moore.  Guys like that.
    • Oh I see what you meant by memory. I will trust my memory, I have looked a a lot of those ball charts for Bryce and they trend a general pattern. They thing that has changed that I have noticed more recently is the reduction in the bunching of behind or at  the LOS passes over to his right.  Aside from the quantity of throws recently since the running game has become a more dominant factor.
    • Yes but you basically said you are going from a quick skim of those charts without doing the same for Bryce and/or Andy. So you are going memory vs. snapshots. That's not going to be a very comprehensive analysis.
