If the Panthers lose should Ron Rivera return?

RR has some learning to do, yes. However I don't think letting him go the year after his extension would be a smart business move. He is the head coach and the buck stops with him. Coaching changes will be coming, win or lose, but not Rivera. I can see another 2 years with Rivera unless we bomb the next season. I don't think that will happen given the rookie talent we have.

I don't think you are going to see coaching changes if Rivera stays....not unless someone steals someone on his staff

Here's what bugs be about Rivera, and I've been very Pro-Rivera since the Fox regime crashed.

1. Ultra conservative (This is the JR complex at work)

2. Terrible clock management

3. Complete lack of preparation several times this season and since he got here

4. Post bye blues

5. Such a lack of energy in the beginnings of games - zero motivational value

6. Will throw players under the bus but will stick with coaches for far too long.

7. Shows ZERO accountability

"Hell

No

Chico

Won't

GO!"

Sorry wolfpack, but i totally disagree. I think some of you underestimate just how hard it is to win in this league, especially when you take over the worst team in the league with the worst cap situation + all the missed draft picks from years prior. I'm not saying he hasn't made mistakes, just that the uphill climb was VERY steep.

I agree and will add personnel decisions, it's becoming my biggest gripe about Ron, he has no clue who should be on the field and who shouldn't. It's becoming clear he is a very poor judge of talent, who fits the play/scheme best, and/or blind loyalty, whichever it may be.

The Oline/RB/secondary injuries have saved this team.

I think he's taken some responsibility, and I'm not sure where he's thrown players under the bus, unless you mean as a group.  But he does seem awful at game prep, doesn't he?
