Goldie locks has to be benched immediately

He has caught everything this season. So your point is invalid. He has only gone down to his knee a few times to secure a catch. Whatever it takes. It's a fair catch anyways, so why does it matter? He is better than anyone else we have tried back there so just fuging deal with it.

Disagree. Bersin HAS fumbled punts this season.

Can you imagine this guy in frozen ass Lambeu field, or in fuging Seattle with their fans screaming in his ear? It's gonna be a long ass way from fuging wofford college

The kid has been solid.... He had a slip up that eventually led to 7 points from the opponent. However, this was the time for him to learn from it... We have no one else to turn to with the injury to Philly Brown. All will be okay next week with Brenton Bersin..... Just have another sip of Jack Daniels and all will be okay homie...

Yea, there is absolutely no excuse for running up to the ball once you've decided to let it bounce.  Only bad things happen.  The exact same horse poo happened a few times over the past few seasons, where inexplicably the PR would run up to the ball when it hit the ground and it would take an odd bounce, glance off the PR (or whoever it was that ran up near it, sometimes someone other than the PR) and the other team would recover.  That's simple basics that should have long ago been coached out of them.  I don't understand what is so GD difficult to understand about "if you're going to let it bounce, get the fug out of the way.  Run to the other side of the field, whatever, just don't be in range of odd bounces."  These bad plays on ST have been a plague the past few years and there's been one obvious reason.  Poor ST coaching.

That is why his decision had me so absolutely BAFFLED today.

At best that ball bounces about 10 more yards backwards and 10 is a stretch.

At WORST what happened would happen.

I truly don't get what the POSSIBLE logic could be in a PR saying, let me slide towards a bouncing ball to block it with my stomach, while my hands are up.

That has to be one of the top boneheaded plays I've seen. Specifically with us having huge momentum at that point.

Both special teams were horrid. We still won though but that needs to be worked on and someone needs to tell bersin to not try and pick up a bouncing punt. On his knees as well.

you would think that the kid already knows this.

To be truthful.........I have never seen a punt returner act like a goalie in my life .......until today.

There is no way he can give me an answer to the question we are all asking that makes sense.

    • WR: Nico, Woods, Tank (R) TE: Schultz OL: Tunsil/Howard/Deiter/Mason/Fant vs. WR: Chark, Thielen, Mingo (R) TE: Hurst OL: Icky/Zavala (R)/Bozeman/Jensen (R)/Moton   Panthers' had the better OL before losing BC week 1 and AC week 4 which is kind of ironic considering how in the following year DB went down in W1 and Shaq in W4 resulting in the defense going all to Hell. CJ has done amazing in Houston, but he also wasn't asked to carry Zavala, Jensen, Mingo, Hurst, and Chark as a rookie.
    • Past 5 seasons, IMO CJ Stroud and Joe Burrow are the 2 best young QBs that have emerged in the league in that window.  They also didn’t need vets to be their primary pass catchers.  They helped fellow youngsters be great at WR.   almost all the other young QBs have been paired up with vets in their top options….and haven’t been as promising.  so it isn’t Madden.  But the league hasn’t played out as you suggest it does.   Good QBs make others around them better.
    • In 2023 their roster wasn’t stacked. They nailed the poo out of the 2023 draft and since they knew Davis Mills wasn’t the guy, they tanked properly to get pick 2. They also took Cleveland’s ridiculous offer for Watson unlike us with Burns. Houston received enough draft capital to jump up to 3 while picking up the right guys in Anderson and Stroud. The Texans were not stacked or better than us in 2023. They had 11 total wins from 2020 to 2022. They didn’t have a terrible front office so they made sure they got their QB of the future while tanking well and getting more draft picks. They are a textbook study of what we should have done in 2022/2023 offseason even though people in here still think tanking is a bad word and our culture would be bad if we were the Texans. We literally had the chance to be the Texans right now and fuged it up.
