On those 3rd and long tds, what were the looks/package we had?

I think the Krause td was just a gem so maybe nothing you could do there.

Curious because I can't vividly remember.

I think I saw that Wilson was 8-8 on 3rd down for like 160ish yards.

We kept putting them in 3 rd and long situations and they converted all of them.

Ouch

On the first TD Baldwin just straight up blows by Tre Boston.

You can bet this is something the Seahawks saw on film in preparation.

From what I saw, without looking at it right this minute, it appeared we were blitzing on two of those rd throws and it left the receivers in one on one matchup and he found the right read. On that last rd throw to Wilson it was some type of zone blitz and Addison didn't drop back quick enough and Wilson hit him in that gap before Addison got there.

It looked like Boston was out of position on the first two tds. He should have been in position to tackle Kearse after the great throw by Wilson.

I'm not going to bash him though. He's a rookie who has improved since he started. He was just a liability tonight.

I noticed the zone blitz on the last td as well and thought that having Addison in coverage on 3rd and long was a questionable call.

I still feel like their was offensive pass interference on the td against Bene. Obvious push off. On the 2nd TD, Boston got caught in quick sand. Not much to really say.

The ball was already in the air when he froze. Doug Baldwin gave him a little shake. Tre was waiting for him to make a cut. Just two vets outsmarting a rookie.

All three touchdowns were against the Blitz. The first two were vs. single coverage. The third was to an uncovered tight end against a zone. All three passes were thrown before the blitz even had a chance. It was just good quarterbacking and good receiving. 

 

Kearse did push off but we have 7 wins, we aren't getting that call.
