Many LB spots are basically DEs....and Luke isn't better than those LBs bc he isn't that type player. Different playets and positions. For example Luke and Aldon Smith aren't comparbale but both have LB tags

In his 50 career games Aldon Smith has 44 sacks. Comical stuff. In fact no one in NFL history has done that.

Luke is dependable. He is smart. He doesn't bring that to a D....nor is he asked to bc he nor the position can.

Luke obviously is a better investment. Bc he isn't crazy. But when on the field.....you can't say to date he has been better than Aldon. They shouldn't be compared but 44 sacks on 30 starts (50 games) is pure video game stuff on easy mode

One could argue that mostly is scheme rather than ability. You can't penalize Luke because he is never asked to blitz.
