The Colts Set Up The Patriots? Deflate Gate

Schefter trying to turn nothing into a big story... That's his job. I bet the they find the Patriots balls were deflated but have no proof of Belichick knowing about it and they fine the team like $25k, end of story.

it explains why only 1 ball, the jackson-intercepted ball was deflated by 2 psi & the others were only slightly deflated

LOL, so now its the Colts fault the Pats cheated again.

And where did this theory originate, oh yeah, Boston.

Logic dictates that it is a reasonable explanation given that the only ball deflated significantly was in the possession of a ball boy for the Colts. Given the preparation process outlined by Belichik, the other balls were in an expected range.

Do I need to mention that after given balls properly inflated the Pats scored 4 straight TDs? So where is the advantage?

It's a really stupid theory being advanced by Patriots defenders,

The Ravens noticed it in the game before as well but it didn't become a story till after the Colts game.

The Colts said the Ravens noticed it. Harbaugh says they didn't.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
