Hardy Case Dismissed

Did they ever actually negotiate?

'Official position' is basically the public stance. It doesn't always line up with what actually is happening.

It would have been pretty foolish to publicly state that it was a one year rental at the time.

Yes it widely was reported that they were negotiating.

what was Voth's source?

The "settlement" thing is interesting. Although we will never know the terms of it, it seems sketchy on the surface. It's not standard procedure to pay a witness not to come to court and testify against you (and is probably witness tampering). On the other hand if Holder filed or threatened to file a civil suit for assault then a financial settlement to "settle all claims" would make more sense.

My coworker just came in from lunch and told me she was at the bank talking with her teller, and the guy and the teller next to her were having a conversation where the teller said they were praying for this customer this morning, the customer said he was too, thank God it went well...my friend looked at him and said "Are you Greg Hardy?" He said "yes, maam" - shook her hand, signed an autograph and said he was meeting with Jerry this afternoon.

She told him if he were her son she would advise to stay away from crazy people like this woman, and he totally agreed haha

To be fair there is a difference between smoking some herb and slamming a woman on a bed of guns and threatening her life.

Allegedly

This is the double standard I'm talking about. Guy gets busted twice for substance abuse and misses 10 games, its not that big of a deal... Guy calls cops himself, then is found not guilty, oh he is allegedly innocent and a cancer... This is the fuged up part of this world.

One gold digging crack head woman hurt the Panthers and our fan base in major way. Lost a lot. Lost 13 million, Hardy possibly to a rival, our good public image, and a possible SB victory. For what? So a gold digger could cash in on some domestic violence. Ouch. This disaster keeps kicking me in the nuts.

To any current Panther players reading this forum please read the following:

If you want premium tail then hire a high priced escort. If you want to throw your money away on a gold digger, then be aware that she might pull a stunt to blackmail you for more money. If domestic violence occurs then DO NOT call the police. If she attacked you and you defended yourself, then you will be found at fault initially. It will take a team of high priced lawyers to get you out of the jam. Keep the police out of it. Do the following: offer to PAY THE GOLD DIGGER money. You already know what she wants. $$$$$. The scales are tipped heavily in her favor with law enforcement and the court system. Don't let it come to that if you can help it. If she picks up the phone scream "I'll give you $500,000!" or whatever amount will get the gold diggers attention. Ask for a few days to get the money. Call her several times a day to reassure her. Talk to your lawyer. Pay her, then dump that bitch ans STOP associating with gold diggers. Find an escort, or a potential wife. No one night stands. No gold diggers. Escort, wife, or steer clear of women.

Here is what to look for in a wife:

She doesn't do drugs, or drink in excess.

She doesn't have gold digger characteristics.

She isn't mentally ill in any way.

She is available to you when you get off work.

She is domestic and runs your house when you're away.

She has a hot meal ready for you when you arrive home.

She is willing to stay home and rear your kids should you have any.

She has not already started a family and failed at it.

That is a good starting point. Hardy failed to follow common sense rules about women, and it nearly destroyed his career, and put him through a lot of emotional distress. Don't be like Hardy. Be smart. Follow the rules. Gold diggers are crafty, and they can spot a dummy with new money a mile away. That's their job. You play football, and they play you.
