Adrian Peterson wants to be traded to 1 of 5 teams, one in the NFC south

Meh, let him go to the Bucs.

He turns 30 later this month, and though he is one of the best over the past decade, his time there won't be very long.  I'd rather them get Peterson than draft a gnarly young back like Duke Johnson or Tevin Coleman, and have them crush us for the next 5-7 years.

I really don't fret much over rival teams getting good players.

It's something that happens every year and you just have to deal with it.

You have to build a good enough roster to defeat that other team's roster, and you either will or you won't. If you don't, you try again next year.

That's the game.

  • Arizona Cardinals

  • Indianapolis Colts

  • Dallas Cowboys

  • San Diego Chargers

  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers

All warm weather or dome teams on that list.

Plus no state income tax in Florida or Texas goes a long way when your making that kind of $$$$.

Thanks you for including the five.

    • Good read and stuff under it is not bad either. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/article/panthers-cb-jaycee-horn-says-184519429.html
    • While I'd love to add him, it just doesn't make sense for where we are at in our re-build right now. The only teams who should be interested are those who have a very legitimate shot at winning the SB this season, as any team who makes the trade is going to be mortgaging their future to make the move. Teams who make these kinds of trades and then give them the massive contract, in the hopes that it will expedite their path to contention, ALWAYS ends up backfiring because they have to give up the 1st round picks that are then needed to help build out the rest of the roster after eating up such a significant chunk of the cap on the new contract. There is no way the Cowboys trade him for anything less than 2 future 1st rounders (and probably more), plus we'll have to make him the highest paid non QB in league history.  Not to mention that it would then have made the Scourton and/or Princely picks a bit of a waste, as those 2nd and 3rd round picks would have been better off used on a ILB or DB
    • Like his approach to pre season that's ro get them out there and play together for a few plays and right about the night before and morning before.  Maybe we can come out the gate on fire I can smell the smoke from here!!   Go Panthers
