Teams that are competitive don’t get blown out twice in four weeks to end the season. They barely beat some bad teams. the defense kept them close against the eagles and chiefs until the fourth quarter because the offense couldn’t find their ass with two hands before that. Eagles obviously didn’t take them very seriously, and the chiefs were pretty clearly smoke and mirrors in retrospect. That worst defense in the league shut down the eagles for most of the game. Mahomes was held scoreless in the fourth until the final drive. That doesn’t matter of course because it doesn’t support the Bryce narrative  Falcons fired their defensive coordinator after the week 18 game, to give you an idea of what people who get paid to know the game think of him. -
