Panthers Re-sign Ed Dickson

Good signing.  If we can get somewhat stable at OT, he should have a bigger impact.  He had to stay in a block a lot last season, and fill in for Tolbert while he was out.  Not his forte.  I think that's why he came on so strong at the end, once Tolbert was back, and the line looked better, he could actually get out in some routes and make some plays.  I'd like to see him more aggressive for the ball, but he's no Olsen.

I really hope this is for 3 years. I think he can be a big part of this offense.

No offense to SwoleBones, but he's just not mentally developing to be more than a blocking TE

 

Honestly, I wouldn't mind giving him a look at more of an H-back type role and try to have him replace Tolbert.

Re-signing TE Ed Dickson is good news. I was afraid we would lose him in free agency and would have to re[lace with a lesser player.

For like the tenth time, breaking a story is nice, but it is hardly writing. Some of you wouldn't know what good writing is if it bit you In the ass.

Surprised at the excitement over this move. How many times must we as panther fans see that whatever happened at the end of last season doesn't really mean jack for next season.

 

Besides, like 2-3 okay games near the end, compared to an overall season of meh has me feeling....
