Saints attempting to trade WR Kenny Stills

Not sure. Rumors here were that coaches and management were very upset about the attitude in the locker room last year. Immature was thrown around a lot. It's very apparent they aren't happy and they're doing something about it.

I don't like getting rid of young talent on a cheap contract though. Loomis said everyone was under evaluation. He wasn't lying.

Somebody should have evlauated Loomis after last offseason.

The only thing I can think of is they are trying to force Brees to want to accept a trade. Removing all his weapons at the end of his career.

Doesn't make any sense to trade a guy who produces with a small cap hit

I can kinda get behind this. If nothing else, helps Brees save face wanting a trade from NO. He can just say look, they traded all my weapons, I'm old, I want a SB, and NO is rebuilding. I love the Saints, but don't want to be apart of that anymore...meanwhile, they'll load up on picks, free up cap space, and try to compete again in 3 years.

That's the thing that popped into my head. I just don't believe or would want to that a team that was made relevant would try to make their QB want to be traded and save face.

Whats Brees' cap number? Who is their backup QB?

    • After last season, it was the same question. And the answer most people came to was "If he doesn't make the playoffs, he's gone." He made the playoffs. No matter how it was done, we made it to the playoffs. He's safe. He's going to have a chance to keep working this out, even if next season isn't a playoff one.  I think we'll do better next year than we did this season. There's something being built here.
    • The NBA is a very fickle league. Kon is one of the hottest rookies in years and beyond just his play on the court he is a very steady competitor and that translates to the rest of the team. That has been a glaring absence with the culture of this franchise through the bulk of the LaMelo Ball years that's just being completely blunt and realistic. The enigma of LaMelo Ball is he is entering year 6 and still either red hot or ice cold. We need him to find that sweet spot. Logic dictates the Hornets will want to see this core again next year. But the clock is beyond ticking at this point. It's put up or shut up. Especially considering what the Thunder managed to do recently. I'm hopeful they can keep these wins rolling in and get some much needed playoff experience under their belts which will help substantially.
    • I think as long as the Panthers are competitive with Canales they should keep him. Pepper needs to repair his/the teams image as a place prized free agents aren't hesitant to consider. Just dont do any crazy poo for a few years.
