"Why the 49ers should move all in for Luke Kuechly in 2016"

No, see ... THAT was my point. Why in the hell are we making a thread to laugh at 9er fans for wanting Luke? Would you expect ... say ... Lions fans to make a thread on their board if we made a thread here saying trade the farm for Megatron?

Forget what the thread turned into, it should've never happened in the first place. I get it, some of you actually dislike 9er fans since their team beat us in the Playoffs and Kaep did Cam's superman.

Get over it. They like Keek. Neat. Who cares?

I dislike 49er fans from long before our playoff loss.

So we can't make fun of a sinking ship wanting to sell the farm for one of our franchise studs?

What's the good of being a fan if you can't enjoy the misery of fans from a team you don't like?

We've had more than our share of problems that other fans have made fun of us for. The worm has turned.

Schadenfreude for every Panther fan!

Another gem from this guy.

I would trade Brooklyn Bully for the guy who wrote this ridiculous article.

You forgot one thing Montsta, Brooklyn Bully moved to Brooklyn which apparently only super humans can do. Therefore he is better than all of us and it's his duty to swoop in at every turn to school us.

We're not trading Luke.

And there is zero chance the 49er's could even make a play for him.  The article glosses over the fact that we'd use the 5th year option on him at the very least.  You're not going to franchise a guy instead of using the 5th year option.

Stupid article is stupid.

If there was a stud MLB in the upcoming draft to replace Luke then I wouldn't mind us doing the trade. I don't know if we can get 3 first round picks but we could probably get two 1st round picks and some mid round picks.

I love Luke but if we get a offer for him that includes multiple first round picks we would be dumb to turn that down. After all what has more value, Luke or two first round draft picks? With two first round picks you take a chance but more than likely will end up with two solid players.

    • Sober. Still feeling it. I really like how the schedule is laid out for us. Perfect for a new HC and rebuilding team. Aside from the Bengals, there aren't  any good teams before the bye. Chargers will be, but they're having to figure poo out just like we are and they'll be coming here for an early game. That one is a toss up. I like our defense against them. I think we'll give the Bengals a fight, but I wouldn't put money on us winning that one. But the saints can be swept. They're beat up and just don't have much going on. They'll be at the bottom of the division. I feel like we will split with the falcons and the bucs. There's nothing scary about the raiders or that washington team. Chicago is another toss up, but they aren't scary either....not yet anyways. We're getting them early in the season so I like our chances. I especially like our defense against a rookie QB. And the broncos....boring. Giants....again, boring. Looking at this, we've got a good defensive thing going on. I think the unit will be better this year a d we're in season 2 of Evero. I like us especially against rookie QBs, and we'll have at least 3 we're facing before the bye. We come in and play smash mouth football and just keep hitting (pounding) away and I think we're competitive. It's that schedule after the bye that scares me. Hopefully by that point they've built up a lot of confidence. You get a scrappy dawg that's got some confidence and a lot of fight in him and you've always got a shot. I think that's what we'll be this year. This year isn't about winning all the games. It's about building confidence and learning what we've got to do.
    • To be honest I just haven't been paying attention. I have PTSD from all these shitty Tepper hires. I'm just going to wait and see what takes the field.
    • What is extremely rare?  Taking a young quarterback when you have a starter?  If that is what you are referring to, at one time it wasn't that rare.
