Greg Hardy to the Cowboys

Recommended Posts

we don't get a comp pick, because it is for replacing the production from that player from last year, since he didn't play but 1 game we are missed nothing so we get nothing.

I read somewhere else that specifically is not true. But I can't produce it so my word means just as much as yours at this point. We will see I guess.

Greg Hardy's salary is $750K. Workout bonus of $1.3116M. $9.25M in per-game roster bonuses. $1.3116M in incentives based on sacks.

Also, Greg Hardy's contract has a no-franchise/transition clause. He'll be a free agent in 2016.

Correction on Greg Hardy terms: Incentives are $1.8044M for sacks, not $1.3116M. Total potential deal is $13.116M.

11 mil plus, playing with a contender, and playing alongside another good threat on the other side...Hardy wins again. Now we will see just how smart, foolish or crazy that he really is. If he stays out of trouble and has a decent year, he will likely get paid again.

Could this be a problem:

Each team is allowed a maximum of four compensatory picks, and selections will only be awarded to organizations that signed fewer players than they lost to free agency. That does not include players cut, players released after signing the year before or players making the league minimum.

It's not a reputable source but I read the bolded part and thought about how "technically" they are paying him the vet min. Just a thought.

    • LaMelo to Brooklyn for Nic Claxton, Drake Powell, and a pick.  Who says no?
    • Appreciate you, brother!  I know it was lengthy, but I felt whoever actually read it would appreciate it.
    • Damn good take, brother.  I think I take that poo personally because (sidebar: I don’t like to use narcissist often because social media has made it a buzzword and diluted the meaning, so when I use it, I don’t take it lightly) I grew up in a home with a raging narcissist, then married a narcissist and just came out of a divorce after a 20 year marriage with her, where afterwards she met and married another narcissist.🤣  And in my dealings with them, over my 41 years on this earth, at times I took great delight in breaking down their arguments point by point and forcing them to either acknowledge their wrongs and take ownership of them or watch them yammer and stammer away when they ran out of lies and excuses.  At various points, that was extremely satisfying, but ultimately, which I’ve realized especially after the last 3 years and going through the divorce and everything, it does NOTHING to them.  It doesn’t affect them one way or another.  For a logical, reasonable, grounded person, you would think calling them in their poo will bring it to their attention when they’re face when nothing but facts and truth and force them to change, but nope.  Not in the slightest.  They just disassociate from the ones who do that and find more people who will validate their behaviors and thinking.  poo pisses me off because they’re so destructive and couldn’t care less so long as their needs are met.
