Really good read on Big Frank. He used marijuana as a coping mechanism for stresses in his life stemming from the health of his mother and father. Worth a click and it leaves me feeling optimistic about him.

If Frank can get it together and build from his prior success early in his career, I think he and Ealy could be great in rotation with one another while pushing each other to be great. Jeremy said he was one of the the training camp all-stars last season. Let's hope he gets a chance to put it all together and have a good year. Looking forward to seeing how the story of Forgotten Frank unfolds.

Really good article. Glad to hear that Frank the Tank is in a good place mentally. Hopefully this will be his breakout year. I could honestly see him getting the start over Ealy.

Here are some of his Oklahoma highlights to refresh people's memory about his potential.

I think we're treating Frank like a lottery ticket.  If he works out, fantastic.  If he doesn't, well we weren't planning on it anyway so no loss.

I really hope he has woken up.  He's very, very close to pulling a Josh Gordon and smoking himself right out of the league.

I think it's dumb that marijuana is illegal, but it is what it is.  You have a potential multi-million dollar a year job on the line.  I think I'd quit smoking for that.  Your NFL career is gonna be done with by the time your mid-30s at the latest.  You've got the rest of your life to smoke like Snoop Dogg if you like.

I know doctors, lawyers, and politicians who use marijuana for the same reasons. They just don't have the same kind of governing body Constantly out to get them. I see the NFL relaxing their stance soon.

This is what it comes down to. Either don't do it or don't get caught. Such poor judgement.

They already did pretty significantly last year. They raised the threshold for a positive test and you have to fail a test 4 or 5 times now to get suspended. Unfortunately for Frank, all of his violations occurred under the old policy. I don't even think he would have been suspended yet if all his violations had occurred under the new policy.

    • It was the state that did. That's how we got Jake from State Farm
    • They were not very good in the second half I didn't think. Turned the ball over a lot and looked far less dangerous without pulisic. However playing a little lazy up 3-0 is understandable. They can play similarly against Australia but strategy will need to adjust against better teams. They took a ton of chances and left themselves exposed a lot in the first half, Paraguay just wasn't talented enough on either end of the pitch to do anything about it. Playing that way against a top 10 ranked side probably results in a 3-0 halftime deficit instead of a lead but I believe coaching is smart enough to know that. Definitely a very entertaining first half and was super important towards gaining momentum with casual fans.  I personally didn't like the commentating style because I felt like they tried really hard to commentate for people who don't typically watch the sport but I understand why they did it. Great start for the team and country they should be in the driver's seat to top the group and I would expect a comfortable win against Australia too if pulisic is healthy.
