Mayock's new rankings:

Wide receiver

1. Kevin White, West Virginia

2. Amari Cooper, Alabama

3. DeVante Parker, Louisville

4. Breshad Perriman, Central Florida

T-5. Nelson Agholor, USC

T-5. Dorial Green-Beckham, Missouri

"I've got eight wide receivers with potential first-round grades. Of those eight, I think six will go in the first round," Mayock said on NFL Network's "Path to the Draft." "Kevin White and Amari Cooper are both top 10 talents. I like White slightly higher."

Mayock also thinks those two, plus Louisville's DeVante Parker and fast rising UCF prospect Breshad Perriman, will be taken in the top 20 of the draft.

Mayock adds in Dorial Green-Beckham, whose off-the-field issues put his draft status in question

"Nelson Agholor from USC is perhaps the fastest riser in the entire draft," Mayock said. "He's an impeccable route runner who can play inside or outside. He has tremendous value as a punt returner."

man, someone really good is going to drop to us at 25. With qbs, pass rushers and WR's being

mentioned so often, I'm starting to get excited about a real good player or two to choose from at

25.

I get excited too, then I think about the chance Gettleman uses the pick on Gurley. I get pissed off all over again.

note that is based on what Mayock learned from going around the country to all the Pro Days:

"NFL Media analyst Mike Mayock has finally come in from the coast-to coast pro-day circuit, and after talking with various coaches, scouts, and general managers, he's gotten a better sense of who is rising and falling in the 2015NFL Draft."

Fastest Risers:

#1 Nelson Agholor

#3 Breshad Perriman

    • My take on Darnold was always that he was fine with a good offensive line but would wilt under pressure with a poor line (Jets and Panthers). Seattle began the year w/ a pretty bad oline and they improved somewhat but Darnold is showing he is a pretty good qb. Imagine what the Panthers would be today with Darnold and without Bryce Young and all the wasted draft picks to get him.
    • Similar situation but that would be a better version than what we currently have. Sam isn't a franchise QB but he is a good bridge guy. Either Seatle finds a young guy to groom or they have hit their ceiling. They 100% can't put it on Sam's shoulders and expect to win but the team needs to carry less with him at QB to win vs what this team has to do with Bryce.
    • to me the post would suggest Sam Darnold was good last night because Seattle won in a wild game.   Which is what we do with Bryce Young.   Sam Darnold didn't play well last night.  Which is how he trends, goes to a new team.....looks okay and becomes classic Sam Darnold down the stretch.  Last 6 or 7 weeks old bad Sam is coming out a lot (and then a weird Atlanta game mixed in lol).
