Jaworski believes the Bucs will take Mariota

The Hardy and Rice incidents will have an indirect impact on the Panthers in a good way. The Bucs won't draft Winston because of the public relations issues, and he'll go on to become an elite QB for some AFC team. Thanks Greg.

Who knows what's gonna happen.  A month ago, it seemed like it was just a matter of time before the Bucs just went ahead and began negotiations with Winston effectively putting the Titans on the clock.

I still think Winston will ultimately be the pick, but I guess it adds intrigue.

I'm surprised people are worried about facing Winston. He's far from a sure thing.

This.  Aside from the off field concerns, the guy was an absolute turnover machine last year.  You rarely see a guy reduce his turnovers when going from college to the NFL.

Honestly, if Winston starts 16 games as a rookie, he may set a new NFL turnover record.

What we don't want to happen is Tampa to get a poo ton of draft picks from a team like the Eagles for the Number one pick.

Would rather that than them getting a franchise QB in Winston. Them taking Mariota 1st would be the very best case scenario in my opinion.

    • In a lot of ways it makes sense to just draft a tackle early so they have flexibility with icky's injury and Motons not getting younger. I'd love for them to resign BC cause to me he looks pretty good anywhere they put him
    • Rods the one who needs to go if they don't win a cup soon, Overall I like the way Tulsky operates, do i wish he had pivoted to several smaller moves instead of going all in on a big acquisition? Obviously.   But RBA is the one I'm locked onto, he is too stuck in his ways and if if "his way" can't get somthing done he just triples down and proves his insanity by trying the same stupid crap over and over, the facebook casuals will be like but but but 8 years in a row making the playoffs.... yes we'll guess what we should have at least a cup to show for it, yes only one team wins every year but this year will be the 8th consecutive year making the playoffs.... heck none of us even get excited about that and haven't in four years minimum.  Our top guys are nearing the peak of their prime the time is now, but the canes seem content to stand pat and "make the playoffs" anther 5-8 years in a row.
    • #Panthers TE Tommy Tremble has a $2 million guarantee that is triggered today at 4 p.m. I don’t expect any movement there, fwiw. Tremble is due a $3.67 million base salary this season. He has another $2.4 million in incentives on his deal, per Over the Cap. https://x.com/mike_e_kaye/status/2032117015121391697?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
