What is the best Sandler movie?

I love Adam Sandler movies. Even the new ones (Besides Zohan, that movie is horrible). There ate so many top choose from: Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, Mr. Deeds, Big Daddy, The Longest Yard, Grown Ups, Click, The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates, Jack and Jill, I even had a soft spot for That's my boy.

However, my all time favorite movie of his has to be The Waterboy. I love every scene in it. I have watched it 40+ times and can quote the movie from beginning to end.

So what is your opinion of Sandler movies, The Waterboy, do you like just the old movies he made, and what is your favorite (or least favorite)?

I have to go with Billy Madison.

 

Classic performances throughout, from Chris Farley's angry bus driver to Norm Macdonald's dumb friend to Bradley Whitford as the villian, not to mention Steve Buscemi as the bullied kid turned hero, "Boy am I glad I called THAT GUY".

 

 

It just doesn't get better than that. Maybe my favorite comedy of all time because it perfectly combines my love for absurdly stupid humor and hilariously dark humor.

I don't like most of his new stuff other than for background noise, and I honestly like some of his serious roles more than his comedies. Spanglish, Reign Over Me, and Funny People were all decent to me.

I would say that I liked Sandler movies a lot when I was younger. Now I am older they are not as funny to me.

His comedy hasn't changed, I have.

I think I made it all the way through Zohan, but for me it nearly ruined everything that Sandler had done to that point. It was that bad.

 

If we're talking best/favorite movie he made, I would probably go with The Wedding Singer. That's one of my all time favorites.
