Some teams think Randy Gregory will slip to the late first round

I like him a lot, but supposedly on one of his latest team visits he weighed less than 230 lbs.

Now maybe he's one of these types that puts on and maintains weight easy and drops it just as fast, but that kind of size drop is kinda scary.

But dang he's a special pass rusher.

When he stopped the pot, he lost more LBs. 220 LBs there's some kickers bigger than that.

He can add weight, frame is there for 255ish LBs. House could do it no problem. A super strong 255 lb man can hold his own against a strong 315 OLman. I still question if all gos well, even then he's can be a 4-3 DE. I feel he's a 98.9% OLB in a 3-4.

To be anything more than a part time pass rusher in a 4-3 he needs to add 30 pounds which will take a year or two then he needs to learn how to play at that weight. So I don't think he's making a real impact until probably year 3. That doesn't even go into his weed problem and the reported "excuse-for-everything" attitude he has which probably won't fly in our locker room. I don't want him at all.

Here is what people need to do.  As soon as they read "character concerns", "arrested", "failed drug test," or something of that nature, go ahead and scratch that player from your board and forget about them.  There is no sense discussing them.

    • Btw... only Mitch fugging Marner has a better +/- than Key 🔑!!! And, Mitchy needed 5 more games and almost 100 more shifts to get there.
    • I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.
    • Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
