​I hear people use this logic a lot, and I just don't buy it, not saying it's wrong, I just look at it differently.

Age is age, and the biggest issue is how long it takes you to heal between Sundays.  As the body ages, it takes longer and longer to heal itself.  I do agree that the less hits makes the body not get hurt as much, but come Sunday at 1, that is out the window.

Starters at several positions are really going to have to earn their spot this year.  What a nice spot to be in as a fan.

​Yeah, I guess I should have clarified.  The logically side of me says that's just wishful thinking.  The wishful side of me hopes that's the case.  Either way, his presence just being in the building is invaluable.

The best players use their instincts and football knowledge to make up for slowing down a bit.... I think Tillman will be fine

He will be a big boost if he comes close to his prior form. Nickel package with Norman, Tillman and Bene would be solid. Tillman has a good football IQ. I really like the idea of having a great cover safety that can be the general on the field for our DBs. Imagine Luke commanding the front 7 and peanut orchestrating the backfield. Tough and smart.

I'd like to see Tillman play well for us. But I'm concerned he will look like Charles Godfrey and Ron will leave him in because they are buddies.

I like how Dave has increased the size of this team at almost every position.

In all fairness, there are very few DBs that Smitty didn't make look foolish when he was in his prime.
