Why do people think bersin is terrible? yeah at punt/kickoff return he is god awful. But at wr he got us plenty of first downs on third down. He isn't fast but he catches nearly everything thrown his way and cam seems content with him,

Because he got his hair cut? You know, for the kids. Hair cut info here

idk. All this "debating" about the 4/5 WR seems pointless. Better people than me will make that decision and that's why they get the big bucks.

Good point. I don't understand why so many huddlers get set on a name and come hail or high water they are going to pull for that player to make it over anyone, even if another player out plays their anointed favorite.

I got faith that our coaching staff can evaluate talent and place them appropriately on the depth chart. The only name im pulling for is the Carolina Panthers. In the end I just want the most talented players to make the cut, wether it's Bersin, Hill, Cotchery, or a player yet to be named is irrelevant.

He can catch, but we need speed even the whole coaching staff has said this.  We got enough receivers that can "catch."

speed also needs to catch the ball. let us not forget that k.b. had many drops that were wide open. i cannot recall bersin dropping anything that was not tipped. the team needs clutch receivers that cam can count on, bersin is that guy.

bersin represents everything a lot of very dumb users on this site hate about this organization

there aren't a lot of wide receivers in the NFL that are 4th or 5th on depth charts that absolutely smoke him.  his skillset and stats are pretty typical of his role.  oh but dur he wouldn't be in the NFL if it wasn't for al davis i mean jerry richard$on amirite

he's extremely cheap, can be cut with almost no loss (if any at all), and is a halfway competent possession receiver.  i'll never understand the out of control over the top butthurt over the fact that he has a roster spot.  as if having some other scrub at the bottom of the depth chart would make us a significantly better team.

OK Mr.Richardson , he reliable but he gets punked down when real CB's get physical with him, we shall see in preseason if he is worth it.

I honestly can't quite get my hands around the Hill love and the Bersin hate.

Huge 3rd down, in a big game....who do you want trying to convert?  The guy who can't catch, or the guy who can't beat the press and slips while running his route leaving Cam with no option resulting in a late forced throw to the right side of the field that is picked off by Cam Chancelor and ran back for a touchdown to seal our playoff fate?

I'll take anyone else...thanks...

Thinking Bersin gets a hat over Hill because he went to Woford is laughable. Hill was on the PS last year and 31 other teams could have plucked him away. None of them did. I am not buying into the conspiracy that Jerry reserves roster spots for pets. This is ridiculous.

My post was talking about his "huddle name" and his rant. I know he is not getting any benefit  from Richardson, just messing with dude.

People in here arguing about Hill, Bersin, Cotchery and Philly LMAO, I wonder if any of them would even be in NFL rosters if it wasn't for the panthers.

Here's hoping Kelvin, Funchess, Olsen and Ginn are enough for the passing game to be successful

Dude, why is it you have so much hate for any Panther receivers not named Benjiman,  Funchess, Olsen or Ginn?

    • This draft is 2023 all over again, it's not hard to see. QB's who don't grade out as high first round prospects while at the same time, the following draft class looks to be loaded with elite QB prospects. Drafting a QB just because you need one (or making a bad trade to make said draft pick), when there isn't one worthy of that draft pick, is how you ruin franchises, just look at us right now.
    • I upgraded to the S24+ a few weeks back. Very happy with it.
    • LOL... Yet again proving you can't look below anything than what you see on the surface Mock drafts ARE NOT draft grades They are what people think will happen.  They are mocking teams taking QB's in the top 5 of the draft because that's just historically how drafts go regardless of the grades on the QBs.  Almost every draft expert, even those mocking QB's going high, have said time and time again that none of these QB's actually grade out as those type of picks. This is again, where I say you don't like to actually read what I have to say, because I already explained it. 2022 the exact same thing happened, mock drafts had guys like Pickett and Willis going in the Top 5 because that's just what teams usually do, but GM's listened to their prospect grades and knew they weren't worth taking that high, so they didn't. It's not to say QB's won't go that high this year, but it's to say that they aren't graded out as elite QB prospects.   And yes, I've never said I'm not a T-Mac homer. But me being that doesn't change that he will be the highest graded offensive player in this year's draft, at a position we haven't been able to solve since we lost Smitty.  Taking him makes all the sense in the world, my bias aside.
