Could be cool. Punisher as a character can be really badass but he can also grate on me really bad because if he's written wrong he comes off as a self righteous jackass.

Punisher is a great morality balance for Daredevil.  Same objectives, different views of justice and morality.

I'm interested to see how he is portrayed in the show.  I hope they don't go generic damaged PTSD soldier, and portray him more as vengeful badass dealing vigilante justice to the mobsters who killed his family

Jon is a very good actor who's been able to get some work since for TWD and he deserves it. I'm excited for this and I think he's going to do a very good job.
