I had just about all but completely erased that game from my memory. What a shitfest.

Of course a huge contributing problem with that game and the other blowout losses that followed was obviously our OL, but another huge factor besides our defense getting gashed to pieces was the fact that we just didn't have the offense to keep up, let alone make a comeback down 10+ points.

Since then we've added depth to our RB stable, we've added a promising rookie WR along with Ginn, and we've shored up our interior OL.

Oh, and we've also improved our special teams, I think people forget just how awful it was at certain points last year.

As soon as Steve Smith got that freak tipped touchdown reception I knew how the day would go.

    • just read the thread. I would like to say that the team not being sold to Tepper is an absolute banger of an answer and probably the right one
    • "If you could change any one instant in Carolina Panther history, ... just ONE, ... what would it be? Initial gut reaction when I first thought of this question is Kasay kicks it in bounds on the kickoff, but unfortunately I still think New England wins that game even with that My second instinct was pulling Bene out before he breaks his leg in the playoffs. My crackpot theory is if he never gets hurt we win the superbowl. I refuse to go back and watch the game but at some point Peyton throw an absolute duck that should have been pick 6'd. but because we were on our like fifth outside corner he was slow to the ball. this would have completely flipped that game because I'm pretty sure Denver scored that drive and the next one was the Cam sack fumble
