I'm not too thrilled about your pick this week, but as always I appreciate your detailed analysis.

You provide a service that the main stream networks who are on the air 24/7 do not provide as much detailed information as your program does.

I wanted to acknowledge the hard work you put into your company. It looks like a self run business and I hope you are making a decent living. This is what the American dream is all about, following your passion and finding a way to make a living doing what you love. It almost gives me the courage to drop my 9-5 and try to follow a similar path.

Thanks for your analysis and I hope your business venture succeeds because you provide a great product. ESPN and NFL network should be ashamed that a startup using Youtube provides more information that they do.

well said.   Might not totally agree but his point of view is based on logical reasoning and I have to respect it.

The bottom line is we are a better team than Jacksonville, with or without KB...no matter how you slice it.

I get that many think KB was our receiving corps, but in truth, we are solid there.  Funchess has shown himself to be at least solid, Ginn really does seem to thrive in our offense, and despite what many want to think, Cotchery is a good #3 (he was just miscast as a #2 last year).  And that doesn't even take into account Olsen, who is better than any pass catcher Jacksonville will have tomorrow.  And if Philly can find his hands again, he is solid.  So, while we will not be as dynamic as we would have been if KB didn't get hurt, teams will still have to respect our passing game.

I also really think too many pundits do not realize just how much of an upgrade we have on the OL.  They probably look at how bad we were before inserting Norwell, Turner (got healthy), and Remmers, and assume it will be more of the same this year.  Not to mention, they only look at how Oher has struggled the last couple of years (without realizing he was hurt most of that time and is now healthy).  What they don't understand is that our OL should actually be a strength this year instead if the weakness they expect.  And as a result, Cam should have more time to make good decisions and find more open running lanes.  And our running game will be significantly better with a healthy Stewart (who is better than Yeldon at his best) and CAP out there instead of an ineffective DeAngelo.

I really do think this team is much better than most outside of Carolina realize (and even some inside).  If Ealy is even just solid, our defense has the potential to be the best in the league, and I honestly think our offense is being underrated...even by many in our own fan base.

Their D Line is in bad shape, our O Line is coming into its own.  This is where the game will be won and lost.  We control the line, the have to bring 8 in the box, receivers are all of a sudden much better in the open field.

On D, my only worry is our DE's.  If they can get pressure, we are good to go.  If not, it is gonna be a long season.

    • Gronk is the best TE of all time, but he also played with Brady. Clarke was great, but had Peyton and in an era TE's didn't make crazy money. Kittle is great, but the two times he's made the SB, he was still on his rookie contract for one, and the other the 49ers had Purdy on a cheap rookie deal which help them build the rest of the roster. So again, it's not about not wanting an elite TE, of course it would be nice.  But realistically, in today's NFL, unless that elite TE with a top end TE salary is on a team with a GOAT level QB and/or other serious cap savings (i.e. key players on rookie deals), then I think it's not a good use of cap space.
    • This place was the poo pre tepper with tons of hilarious posters like phillyB. Joined in the 2000s during the 07 season and have been here bitching about this team since. but yeah its sadly been dying a slow death, every time I come to this site I am surprised its still up. I think the 2015 season was the absolute peak, the Panthers and this board especially just haven't "felt" the same since then. Igo should really sell the board since he clearly doesn't care anymore. Also, Reddit blows and the Bryce defenders on there need Jesus.
    • Guessing the price is too rich here given the injury history.  2024 was brutal and production dropped off in 2025 with a few more injuries (albeit rough qb play).    Don’t really understand the narrative that Young can’t benefit from talented upgrades on offense. Especially here with respect to a tight end. Any QB will benefit from talented receivers that threaten the top of coverage and tight ends with skills to stress zone.    The age and injury history, coupled with what he’s likely asking, just probably means we can better spend that money elsewhere.
