I keep hearing "if he gets called this" "if he gets called that".  There's nothing wrong with what he does.  Has he ever even gotten called for talking? 

My old memory isn't pulling up a specific instance right now but, yeah, I'm pretty sure he has gotten 15-yd penalties before for his mouth and his antics.  Maybe somebody else with a better memory can back me up on this with a specific instance(s).

The Huddle has been like this for years. Some of our fans just over analyze this poo man.

I cant blame people that are extreme fans an it leads them to torment themselves, but I am an extreme fan too, so I will let it be. LOL

CRA has been on this board for years and years. I know he wants what is best for this team, but it really is week one madness IMO. None of the 32 teams know who they are yet, what they are good at and NFL offenses usually dont start to click until week 3 or longer.

I think our defense looks good, Cam looks good, Stewart was able to eat the clock, and Norman definately showed up today. Some people will find reasons why we suck, but I tend to have a glass half full and I see lots of good things that happened yesterday too.

I looked it up. This is his 4th season and he's gotten a grand total of one taunting and one unsportsmanlike conduct penalties  the same number of "losing his composure" penalties that Luke's gotten  

edit: if I recall correctly the taunting was in 2012 and conduct was last year

I'm a big fan of Josh's attitude because I think the team needs guys who play with the Steve Smith chip on their shoulder. Fact of the matter is though it will eventually cost us yards, which in turn could cost a game. If you watch after the pick 6 the ref had a little talk with Norman about his taunting. Any given Sunday a different ref could throw the flag. He just needs to be smart and figure out a way to balance his smack talk, i.e. Smitty later in his career.

Norman was targeted 9 times and allowed 3 catches for 5 yards. Forced and recovered a fumble, had a pic 6, and defensed 2 passes. Also consistently shut down top receivers last season. What are you trying to say? What else do you want to see?

Norman is the best corner we've had in a LONG time and some guys want him gone? LOL 

Josh Norman is the anti-Bersin. Josh is one of the best at his position, is making peanuts this year, and without him we don't make the playoffs last year. Without him, our secondary goes from above average to below average. He had a terrific game against Jacksonville and probably was the difference between winning and losing. FF in the red zone and pick 6. That's a major swing in a game we won 20-9. And people like you hate him? As a cornerback, you need that flare to your game. That's part of it. You know how many times Steve Smith got into opposing players' heads and got them playing sloppily? I LOVE that aspect of the game. That's what Norman tries to do. It can definitely be beneficial. 

Brenton Bersin is one of the worst at his position, and without him, well, nothing happens. His production was/is easily replaceable. Don't even bring up that one Browns catch, because he had a HUGE drop against NO that caused an INT. Bersin is a certified scrub and yet people defend him to the death. Norman has the potential to be an All-Pro and seems to be the best DB we've ever had and people want him gone. I mean, what in the world is going on…

TThat's because for 2 years he was talking smack from the bench.

Threads like this one on the huddle make me shake my head. The dude is the best corner we've had in years one of the best in the league right now, had the HIGHEST rating of all CB's in week 1 on PFF and people still try and complain. You could argue that he won on us the game on Sunday.

come on man, dont you understand? every other season he commits a 15 yard penalty. isn't that more of an issue than single handedly winning us the game?
