How many times do you watch a Panthers game?

Just finished my 3rd watch of the Jacksonville game last week. Still noticing some things I didn't see the first 2 times around. Made me question why J-Stew gets a free pass around here. He did not look good and could have easily lost a fumble. Also interested in what you guys think of Roman Harper's performance. He's definitely a forgotten man right now. No one saying anything good or bad about him. Just kinda meh.

If we win I usually watch a game 3 times, sometimes more. If we lose probably just twice.

Playoff games and the best 2 or 3 games of the season I keep on my DVR and watch 5 or more times if we include viewings during the offseason.

I watch the condensed version on replay 2 or 3 times. I usually miss some things while at the game or when drunkenly watching at the bar. I think Stew had an average game. He played pretty good actually considering the run blocking was slacking last week and Shula only knows 1 running play which is straight up the middle. Stew is a cut back and off tackle runner yet some reason we never attempt to get him the ball in space. Definitely doesn't deserve to have shots taken at him after that performance.

I would like to watch each game 5-10 times but i just don't have the time to do that. Usually just re-watch each once or twice. Sometimes I don't really get to re-watch a game. I haven't seen the Jax again yet.

As for films and books, there are films I've seen 100 times, and that's not an exaggeration. A lot of pictures I'll see just once or twice but my favorite ones I'll view dozens of times. Books I'll read just once typically but there are a few that I've read 2-3 times.

    • Basically agree.  He is the one of that bunch that offers upgraded pass catching along with he is supposed to be kind of special.   Then you have the OL and the ideas that if they perform you can have JAG backs and still do well. So okay we could be fine.  But Brooks is important and to me that receiving element sets him apart.  So there sure is something riding on him.     What strikes me as incongruent is people over in Atlanta or those that follow them look at Penix with a third surgery and act like it is no big deal.      And we are on pins and needles over Brooks.  Either they should worry a lot more or we should worry a lot less.
    • I usually go a game or two optimist over the consensus here but this is too early for me to say. I need to see some players on the field.  I am not feeling real optimistic though.
    • Okay as a ‘take CJ’ fan I actually don’t obsess over CJ and Houston, contrary to the narrative.  But I thought I picked up some noise that his OL left a lot to be desired.    Not a single Beyce supporter would judge him harshly if he had a crappy OL. We all know that.    So be fair about it.  A QB needs to be protected.  Especially a guy that gets to his spot and wants to finish the play from there. Which CJ is.
