Anyone have the PFF grades? Curious how they compare. 

Rankings are pretty ugly. I guess we / Cam have been up and down on the offensive side of the ball.

I wouldn't be concerned yet. Receivers have dropped like 6 passes already, one of which resulted in an interception. This early in the season, that can make a huge difference in passer rating.

Those two long passes in the game were on the money. I always felt his long ball has needed work. I wonder if his rating on long range passes is going to improve compared to previous seasons. Hope this is an early indication of it.

Anyone who bases Cam's play on his statistics after watching these WR's is a fugging retard.

Just goes to show you that stats need to be in context.  Cam has done a pretty job when he needs to and obviously running doesnt count in passer ratings so it really doesnt apply as well to him as to many other guys.  If you look at pure passer stats, Cam is the worst quarterback in the division and behind Bortles who we thumped last week.

There was another thread where a poster mentioned where our #1 WR currently ranks in receiving yards.

With 95 yards, Ginn is 67th in receiving yards, with 6 of all those players ahead of him being running backs.

I just came across a really interesting statistic re: Cam that I don't recall seeing discussed, at least not recently.  I was playing around at the Sporting Charts site, and I happened to look at Rushing 1st down %.

For 2015 so far, Cam ranks 2nd behind Russell Wilson:

 Well, we're only 2 games into the season, so maybe this doesn't mean so much.  So... I looked at the 2014 data.  Guess who led the league in Rushing First Down %?  Yes, it would be our QB:

Here are last year's top 10.  J Stew not too shabby either, coming in at #9.  Perhaps we don't have the most flashy rushing game in the league, but looks like our runs, especially by Cam are particularly effective in moving the chains:

Cam looks great out there. Truly. You cannot go by the rankings. He's putting his throws right on the money. We had like 3-4 dropped TD passes the last 2 weeks.

Cam said he wanted his completion percentage to be around 65%. I said it then and I'll say it now, I doubt he gets close to that this year. Not with the scrubs were trotting out at WR. He'll complete around what Eli and Luck complete (58-59%) and rushing numbers will be high like his first two years.

Most of my friends realize Cam has to do everything, they even say how great he's looked with the situation he has been put in.  That simple.
