Does vs Aints strike anyone as a trap game?

I actually said previously that I think it has the makeup of a trap game. We are favorites going in. Likely no Drew Brees... it's the NFL. If you don't come in fully amped you are most likely going to lose. It's the NFC South though and we have the veteran leadership to keep these younguns hungry. I think we'll come in prepared. But if you think it's a gimme then you're fooling yourself.

It only feels like a trap game because of the names on the jerseys. The opposite could be said of the very solid Jacksonville and Houston teams we just played that are simply forced to have subpar QB play.

Feels strange to say it after the last decade between these two teams but if we show up and play like we have the last two weeks particularly on defense this should be a very comfortable victory.

It's the fuging Saints... lmao this isn't a trap game.  You think any of our players are sleeping on them?  Our teams seem to genuinely dislike each other.  There's always some sort of fight, extracurricular activity, or excessive jawing whenever we meet.  I'm sure they're chomping at the bit to send them bitches packing at 0-3.

If we can go an entire game without dropping a touchdown pass or missing 2 FGs we could basically say we are due an extra 13 points....

Oh and if the defense can catch even half their INTs...

Yea if we played a complete game we could blow out even a good team.

The Saints will be the worst team to play for the NFL in decades if they take the field next week without Drew Brees. Even with Brees I love our odds, but without him they have almost no chance in hell.

While there are no gimme games in the NFL, this is about as close as it gets.

The Bears defense has given up the most points in the NFL... by far. And now they're starting Jimmy Clausen on offense. That might be the worst team ever assembled, but the Saints aren't far behind.

Another team I'd be tempted to agree.

But the Saints? No chance. We hate them. Cam hates them. Stew hates them. TD hates them. Big Money hates them (not ATL level though)

A lot of these guys still remember the new years game where they ran up the score passing in the 4th up 30+ trying to break records.

These guys remember the late hit on Smitty in 11. The cheers when Cam couldn't stand back up in 13. The fight last year after Cams superman.

Athletes hold on to that poo. This isn't a trap game to them. It's a chance to pile on.
