We love Josh Norman as much as anybody – he’s the No. 1 cornerback in our coverage grades entering Week 6 – but he’s had a little help in putting up the fantastic numbers he has so far (a league-low 23.1 QB rating allowed).

Don’t be surprised if this pass defense – and the Panthers in general – levels out a bit when facing Russell Wilson, Andrew Luck and Aaron Rodgers in three of their next four games.

Oh god that article is awful:

"All of it adds up to a likely win for Seattle, which could precipitate a little bit of a slide for Carolina. The Panthers aren’t one of the NFL’s elite teams, but they’re still good enough – or, more accurately, not bad enough in any one area – to remain in the playoff race all season long."

There is so much wrong with that article from a factual standpoint to an opinion standpoint that it has entered the ludicrous level.

Yep. I noticed the writer kept relying soley on PFF grades to form an opinion, then at the end it was noted the author is PFF's founder or whatever. lol

If we beat Seattle....people can still claim we haven't beaten anyone and make the same weak schedule claims.

B/c at that point Seattle will be viewed as slop/garbage and lumped in with everyone else we beat

Ever since the all pro draft party when we hit it off, people have been under the impression we are close friends.  Do you mind asking him why he can't hold up his end of the friendship? 

Seriously though, can't wait for the podcast. Josh Norman speaks to the fans and that's awesome.

      He is basically having a polar opposite rookie season than Bryce. 4-3 as a starter on a very bad team.  68% for 237 passing yards and 19 rush per game. 9 TDs,  6 TOs in his starts.  and folks acknowledge the surprisingly play because no one thought poo of the random 2nd rounder and he is player better as a rookie thus far than so many prized picks did as a rookies (not just Bryce but a boatload of dudes).   It's only a sour issue to give someone props because he is a Saint and of course the Bryce thing.  It's like giving the TE in Clev props for having near identical production as the chosen one Tyler Warren.  Fannin is having a great rookie season in a very bad spot.

      This is a very weird take. The reason Shough doesn't deserve it is because he's only started 7 games. He's doing crazy well for a rookie and out playing plenty of vets with a worse roster. He's waaay above league average in a number of categories during his starts and he passes the eye test in game by making plays. Meanwhile Bryce Young had one of the worst rookie seasons of all time. Still TMac deserves it more. It's only been 7 games for Shough so he doesn't deserve any awards. Even if he gets to 9 he doesn't.

      There was a poster on here who had him ranked above Bryce in NFC South QB rankings. My jaw hit the floor lol
