The model franchise for the NFL is the Patriots, Packers, Steelers or Ravens(despite their awful year). We're on the way but we aren't there yet.

And yes, having a grown-up Cam Newton certainly helps build margin for error. That much was apparent during Sunday's game-winning drive in Seattle, at points where the fifth-year quarterback threw up a stop sign with his hand to Rivera, managing the sideline chaos and taking matters into his own hands.

"It was very telling," Rivera explained. "Everyone's going crazy and trying to get in his ear, and he just said, 'I got this' and went to work. ... That's the thing that epitomized his growth."

We are the poo. Get used to it. It was been a beautiful thing to watch grow. Maddening, cardiac episode inducing times...but now if you take a step back and look at this roster objectively....at what they are building. poo looks very nice. The only position that doesn't have legit really good talent is WR. That's only because KB is hurt.

Panthers are very good, and the awesome thing is that we are just getting started. There's so much room for growth and improvement with this team it's stupid.

"It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit."

Safe to say, that's worked out pretty well here.

I like the culture that Rivera and Gettleman have been building.  Feels like that of the San Antonio Spurs, with hopefully as much championship success to follow

at the beginning of the season, we're the worst run organization in the history of sports. now, we're the model NFL franchise, after just 5 games.

This is not the first big long winning streak that Cam and Rivera have had. The Panthers are one of the hardest teams to be in the league. Cam is one of the best in the league. Period.

their buying in because it's true. They aren't lying when they say this years team is the closest team they've been on, like a family. It's showing in how they play.
