The Falcons Fans are Scared

They have some pessimistic ass fans for a 6-1 team.

Here's some of my favorites

"Saints mauled the Falcons, Panthers will have no problem with mauling us."

"I hate to say it but the Panthers are so much better than the Falcons."

"We are not winning this division."

"They are better than they have been and they were plenty good enough already. Really hoping to be wrong and eat crow but it doesn't look good at all."

Panthers are worse than they have been in past years. Quite a bit worse actually.

They are big and physical, but slow and prone to mistakes. As long as we don't get sucked into playing their game we should be fine

what effing game are people watching that they scared of this defense? Bradford has missed two WRs in the end zone and if they would run Matthews and Sproles instead of Murray they'd be in the lead

You're cherry picking. I can do that too, from the same thread.

"Panthers look very human tonite

Meh...Panthers aren't that good, .....

This team could be hitting on all cylinders when they play the panthers and just blow them off the field.

It's the Cam to Olsen show. We should be able to handle that

what effing game are people watching that they scared of this defense?

That team is driven by their defense, if they don't get constant stops and turnovers then it's only a matter of time before Cam shows how stupid and inept he really is. The turd has 3 picks and his team is still up 7 points."

Every team has their optimists and pessimists, fan wise.

    • Would absolutely love to have him. I dont think he would require more than a 5th rounder. The biggest thing with his contract is the amount of guaranteed money. As long as they can work out and scenario where the Panthers aren't on the hook for a lot of that, I think it's a no-brainer. The Panthers can come up with $20M at the drop of a hat with restructuring Moton's contract, so there definitely isn't an issue from a money perspective. Jaycee paired with Ramsey along with Mike Jack would give us one of the best CB groups in the league. The one caveat I see is that safety still remains our biggest current weakness. We need a starting caliber S more than CB, simply put. But adding someone like Ramsey would be amazing as long as the compensation made sense. Ramsey could also play for FS snaps also. I also dont understand this nonsense about being seasons away. We have a QB on a rookie deal who was playing at an elite level to end last season. Within reason, now is absolutely the time to make moves like trading for Ramsey.
    • He'd be a huge upgrade for this year, but we're still not going to be contenders with him and I'd rather keep the cap space to roll into next season to spend on a younger player who can be an impact starter for us for the next 3-5 years while we're hoping to contend.
    • Because playoff hockey and regular season hockey aren’t the same thing.  It’s a combination of the game intensity being dialed up with loose officiating.
