Listening to the radio I heard Toad the wet sprocket, Hootie and the blowfish and Third eye Blind on this 90s flashback they do on my local radio station. You guys remember these bands playing on the radio back then? What's your favorite songs of the 90s?

Informer (Snow), No Diggity (Blackstreet), and Now That We've Found Love (Heavy D and the Boys) immediately come to mind. Also like some Prince/New Power Generation from the early 90s and some Rhythm Syndicate.

Metallica's black, self-titled album; Pearl Jam, Soundgarden and Nirvana were all coming on strong- Soundgarden being my choice of those 3; Alice in Chains (still a big favorite); Green Day; and who can forget Madonna and "Vogue" from the 90's?

i was a big fan of nirvana, soundgarden, alice in chains, melvins, helmet, pixies (though that really started in the 80s).

i have to admit to being a big primus fan as well. i'm a bass player, i couldn't help it.

90s may be the best music decade EVER, goes without saying the best ever for rap and hip hop, as for rock and unreal good songs;

 

Anything Blues Traveler!!! Really underrated band IMO

My favorite decade probably.  AIC/Soundgarden/STP/Pearl Jam/Foo Fighters/Candlebox/NIN/ etc.  The alternative stuff was pretty good too.  Even the singer songwriter stuff like Morisette  and stuff wasn't bad at all.

90's music to me is the best even today.

Third Eye Blind is my all time favorite band. I hate it because everyone only knows them for their poppy radio friendly crap but their albums are solid if you are interested in listening to good lyrics. They just released their newest album a few months ago called Dopamine which is probably their last.

My band does a set of 90's covers for when we play multiple sets, and our list is pretty banging.  If you're wondering why we do so many No Doubt covers, it's because we have a female lead singer that sounds kinda like Gwen Stefani haha.  I'm sure a I forgot a few this was just off the top of my head
