Silatolu’s injury was announced as a “knee contusion, probable to return” midway through 3rd quarter. Yeah, so turned out to be a torn ACL.

Such a shame, we could have used his depth down the stretch, at least Norwell is back but there's less margin for error going forward

For now.  Gotta think we'll look to add another OL for depth with Amini done for the year though.

i mean Chris Scott played well yesterday from what i saw. but we were playing the Redskins afterall... but man i hate this for Amini. its almost like Frank Alexander's situation. Amini was showing signs that he was going to be a serviceable backup for us. then for his season to end like that.... damn.

i hope this drives the Panthers to make the most of every snap. you never know when the next one will be your last for the season.

Amini was playing much better. I hope he can get that knee back to right, we could use the depth on the line for next year.

Chris Scott did do a pretty good job and could hold the fort if Norwell isn't ready yet.

I'd guess we will spend the time following the Dallas game looking for OL depth, but for now just having CJ take Amini's roster spot is the smart move. No one we get right now would even be close to ready by Thursday

I really hate this. It looked like he was making progress. Fortunately for us Norwell might be good to go. To win the Super Bowl you have to be both a little lucky and really good. Hopefully the injury bug stays away from us down the stretch.
