Rich Eisen's case for Cam as MVP

If we are 15-0 going into that last game vs Tampa, at home, considering we already have a bye week coming up, I just don't see the logic in mass resting of anyone on the team. I think it would possibly absolutely wreck the teams momentum and chemistry on the field. When you are rolling like that time off can actually do more harm than good. Rest those who really need it...other than that don't take your foot off the gas.

I can only imagine how bad Cam and the rest of the players will want to make history in front of the home crowd. Can you imagine the atmosphere at B of A? It would be fuging magical! Goddamn what a crazy ride this has been so far....and we are just getting started!!!

Rich hits on something that I haven't heard any other personality talk about. He says, I love Cam, I love Luke...that's where most people stop because that's all they know, and while those two deserve every good word about them what makes this team so awesome and now successful is what comes next...I love Josh Norman, I love the D-Line, I love the Coach...he goes on.

The point is...this team is an every man's team. There's something for everyone. If people knew the stories and the personalities (even the "boring" ones - Norwell, Star, etc. - not the outgoing guys), then they would love this team the way we do.

Our team gets it. Not only do we have good players that play as a team, we have a lot of high character guys.. starting at the top. Whether its encouraging cancer patients or spending time with a special needs girl on her birthday or even just making a kids day with a TD football, this team does more than win football games.

Edit: we could potentially have 3 man of the year winners on the roster. That tells you something about how our team operates.

Love what CAM has brought to Charlotte.  He reminds me of a young Magic Johnson because he makes everyone around him better and his love of the game is so apparent - plus he is physically so gifted and is doing things that no other quarterback has ever been able to do.

Having said that, Cam is just one of the pieces for the success we've experienced this season.   Our defense has won several games for us and Cam's supporting cast on Offense is pretty darn good too (looking at you Big Uglies).

The only team that can keep a world championship away from the Carolina Panthers is .....  the Carolina Panthers.  Our best day > 31 other teams best day.

I...I don't know how to feel about this.  I have spent my entire life being a fan of mediocre sports teams.  I have literally never once seen a prominent national media type slob my team's knob.  Not a single backhanded compliment.  No pussyfooting around being afraid to say that we're fuging great.  He just went to town and said what he thought.  fug yeah, Rich Eisen.  You just got yourself a new listener.

    • Very True--and I am a former HS English teacher.
    • Not a Moore fan-but he had a few good games last year-but I want players that scare you--Renfrow's route running and intelligence, Legette's size, speed, and strength, AT's intelligence and route running, Coker's body control, strong hands, and abilty to win contested catches, and TMac's size, body control, and ability to find soft spots in zone coverages.  Horn gives them the ability to stretch the field and he plays special teams.   Moore has a nice smile and can dance.  He filled in well last season, but to get better as a team, you have to upgrade your players.  I think Moore is a bottom of the roster guy who got bumped when we drafted 2 WRs and signed a legit free agent.  Here is the thing--TMac makes us better because he is great against the zone--man?  Good luck with that.  AT's role can be reduced, and that is probably a good thing.  He can specialize in situational football. Coker?  Just getting started. XL?  Just getting started.  Drafting TMac was probably a bit of a wake up call, but XL will be better as the 2. Renfrow?  I see him splitting reps with AT--keeping both fresh and giving different looks. Horn?  Watch the safety cheat his side when he is in the game--I see a young Steve Smith type in him, but he has yet to play a game.  I hear that Morgan loves him.
