Yeah IF we play to our potential, we beat anyone.  A healthy Patriots included. 

 

That said, potentially going Seattle/Arizona/New England would be one helluva murders' row on the revenge tour.  Things will go badly somewhere...it's just going to be up to the team to Keep Pounding along and even find some luck.

This team is battle tested and the road might be tough but we can beat anyone.  Hopefully we won't have to go through Seattle AND Zona but no one said it'd be easy.  I just hope we can keep momentum and improve from last game.

Yea I wasn't refuting your point just saying we have done exactly that before....the game last year  was 27-16 with some Lindley at QB and we did turn it over at Seattle.

They have enough weapons to attack our defense in the passing game. They can send speed at our safeties, then guys like Floyd and Fitz underneath. It's a tough match up but all games should be tough in the playoffs.

We scored 27 points on them in the playoff game last year, pretty much the same group of guys on defense this year - right? 

So that means the real threat is Palmer scoring points on our defense in our house? Yeah, ok.

Could someone explain to me why anyone would be afraid of the Cards because of a game that happened almost 7 years ago? These are two totally different teams since then. Both teams have different quarterbacks and coaches. I'm not trying to start something, I'm genuinely curious as to the reasoning. Just PTSD, or what?

the cardinals are #1 on the list of teams i don't want to play

fitz is a beast. john brown is really good. michael floyd is playing out of his mind now that he's healthy. david johnson is a solid back. carson palmer is slinging it. their defense is 4th in points *and* yards allowed. peterson is a huge return threat against our flimsy special teams. and bruce arians is a great coach.

if we dont win the nfc they will.

If we play them at home, I'm pretty confident. On the road I'm not so sure.. they're offense and defense are both in the top 10, maybe I'm still thinking about that crappy loss with Jake still playing for us.

It's Arians' offense that has me more worried than Palmer, but we did ok against that with their high school QB last year.

Seattle is scaring me more right now.  They seem to have it together.

They could easily be our first-round opponent. 

Arizona is the only other team that could beat us, imo.
