Cam was Pissed

As pointed out by many TV and Radio types recently,  Cam isn't afraid to be himself.  However,  he really never let's on that another player is getting under his skin.

After Beckham scored to tie the game,  they showed Cam on the sideline,  he nodded confidently to one of his teammates and he was pissed.  You could see it.  I've never seen him with that look before.

I told my brother,  'did you see that look,  Cam is pissed and we are winning this game'.  Remember how Cam used to get criticized for how he reacted to losses?  He didn't change how he feels about losing,  he just changed how he deals with it.  Instead of showing his displeasure outwardly,  he just decided to continue improving his game until his team stopped losing. And for the last 18 regular season games,  they haven't.

For this reason (among others),  I believe we will go undefeated and win the Super Bowl.

Everyone knew with 1:40 plus on the clock, Cam was winning that game for us. I had no doubt.

He's at the point in his career now where you expect him to be clutch. Even with Jake at his peak nobody expected him to win every time. Cam is consistently doing it as good as Peyton or Brady ever did.

Yeah, I had that feeling too.. Cam is going to win this game.. that comes with age, when you are young (psst OBJ)... you react poorly when you face adversity, but as you get older you learn to deal with it.. instead of sulking and saying we lost.. Cam said, watch this bitches

Crazy.  We blow a 4 td lead, have no momentum, and im feeling really good that we will win going into that last drive.

I think the comparison to farve is very appropriate.  Cam at the end of the game feels like the way farve used to feel.

Agree with the first part but Cam is going to be so much better than Favre and is getting more and more consistent with less turnovers and obviously the rushing ability. Favre was a gunslinger. Cam can sling the ball but doesn't do it recklessly or stupidly.

    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
    • Very true on the length but stuff like this is never where we shine. We aren’t a good team at drafting.
    • Homerism aside, the more I see from Dan, the more impressed I am.  His player evaluation instincts. Last year his 2 premier FA signings, Hunt and Lewis COMPLETELY changed the line and I have a feeling his success in choosing blue chip guys will continue.  Look at the panthers’s rep for FA signings in the past. By and large, it’s been guys 1 year past their prime who had an injury and suckered our GM in to a crippling contract. We never get nice things. When was the last time this team signed 2 young blue chip studs  in the same offseason to contracts worthy of their impact? Ever?  Im telling y’all, players respect and trust Morgan.
