King says League will look at game tape

Peter King said League officials will review tape and determine what if any fines will be dealt out...

Everyone on the SNF crew said OBJ should have been ejected, that officials did a poor job of keeping things clean...

And Coughlin said during his presser that he THOUGHT about pulling Beckham but that he wanted him in the game to win it...

Harrison actually stood up for Norman and said there was PI on Beckham on the last score.

what's to look at? beat his ass with a stick and ban him for a game

I know it wont happen but i think he should get a 2 game suspension.  One for the obvious spearing and 1 for the slap to norman/punch to finnegan/trip of norman.

He should be done for the year.

I honestly expect Odell to get a one game suspension that will get reduced to a massive fine on appeal. Along with a warning that anything more like this will be a definite suspension appeal or not.

Norman will get a fine, not sure how big but I expect he gets something. Finnegan might as well off reputation alone.

I think just about everyone saw what happened in that game, and nobody comes away from it thinking highly of OBJ that isn't an obnoxious homer.  Coughlin knew it, he just wanted to win enough it didn't matter.

Don't be surprised if Josh gets a fine as well.

I'm fine with that.  He kneed OBJ in the head after that egregious headhunting.  I mean there's no human on Earth who wouldn't have reacted to that poo, but the rules are "walk away". As long as Beckham's fine is WAY bigger and accompanied by a suspension while Norman's isn't, I'll be fine with it.

I don't give a crap about that little bitch obj

how did the officials miss those calls?  they were obvious to even the biggest giant homer.

officials throw the flag at any of those moments, or throw him out after the third called personal foul and 7th or 8th actual non-football play and we would not have this issue.

thats like suspending the victim from school when he fights back and knocks the bully the fug out. but whatevs everyone knows what is what.

hope the team pays for his fine. he did nothing wrong.

Hey, I'm not saying I agree with it. Just don't be surprised if it happens.

    • I'd hold on to Walker - we have no OT depth at all. Freeling is a block of clay - all the tools are there and he appears to have a great attitude. He needs serious work on his technique to realise his potential though.
    • From my watch last night: They weren't trading out of 19 unless it was a daft offer once Freeling got there. They were clearly antsy to get Hunter - and Minnesota actually called to offer the trade down. They weren't trading out of the third round pick once Brazzell fell to it (and Canales would have been happy with him in the second round). They traded back a lot on Day 3 - even if Morgan 'Babe Ruth'd' it with Lee, Hecht and Wheatley; they clearly weren't the only guys they would have taken at those picks. I'm curious to know which player caused the reaction at the start of day 2 (Dan Morgan): "of course they'd pick him"
    • Watching this confirms that this staff and front office is super high on Monroe Freeling. I wouldn't be surprised if he's gotta a real chance to win the starting LT job in camp. If he does, we can look to flip Rasheed Walker to a contender desperate for tackle help.   As for Ickey I still really like him and wanna extend him but based on how the staff was talking about Freeling it might be time for ickey to start taking some practice sets at guard if he wants to stay here as we are gonna have to have figure out a solution for the contracts of Lewis and Hunt.  My preferred scenario for the Oline in 2027 is Freeling-Ickey-Hech-Lewis-Moton.
