Should we bench Mike Remmers?

He's a penalty machine and quite honestly isn't anything more than average otherwise.  He's gotten beaten several times this season and is the obvious weak point on the OL.  We have someone in Daryl Williams who looked good in TC.

However, you risk damaging chemistry on the offensive line so there's that.  So do we just stick with him given he's not AWFUL or should we try to get Williams more involved?

There are a few changes we need to make. Ealy should start instead of CJ. Can't have Allen and CJ in at the same time, they're the same player. Also need Shaq in when we only have 2 LBs. Tre Boston should be getting more snaps than Roman Harper. Remmers should be getting less snaps and work Williams into the starting lineup. In other words, the coaches need to stop putting so much faith into the old and aging Vets and let the younger guys take over more as we're into the playoffs. The old guys are getting tired.

Yes. He has been really bad over the course of the lat month and winning the games has covered for him. In fact I'd like to see younger hungruer players all around rather than the old guys who have grown so fat and content letting others carry the weigh in recent weeks.

Give me more Tre Boston,Daryl Williams and Shaq Thompson..

    • And really, it should be 4 reasons with the last one being that there were ZERO other offensive weapons on that team in 2024, opposing defenses only had to worry about one player all year long and they constantly double and triple teamed him right off the snap all season.  In 2023, we still had Jacob Cowing who had 90 catches that year and was drafted by the 49ers last year, so teams couldn't just send everyone after T-Mac on every passing down.
    • I wonder if the Hornets view Kon and McNeeley more as forwards and plan to ship off Green/Okogie/Smith for center help. I hope they don’t plan to ship off Sexton as I like what he brings to the team. (2) G - Ball, Mann, Simpson (two-way) (3) G - Sexton, Dinwiddie, Connaughton (3) F - Miller, Knueppel, McNeeley, James (two-way) (3) F - Bridges, Williams, Salaun (3) C - Diabate, Kalkbrenner, Plumlee
    • 3 main reasons he was better in 2023 and none of them concern me for his NFL prospects 1. Totally new coaching staff that was a massive downgrade and had god awful play calling and designs, the entire fan base was ready to run the coaching staff out of town a month into their first season and the play caller ended up getting changed because it was so bad. 2. Along with the staff downgrade, his QB played significantly worse after being the Pac 12 Freshman of the Year in 2023.  Constantly missed T-Mac when he was wide open, lost out on a number of TDs and a good amount of yardage, half the time T-Mac still almost made miraculous catches on the bad passes too. 3. He hurt his ankle over the summer and missed all of fall camp only to return to practice a few days before the season started and I think he had to deal with it all season long and was slightly limping at times mid season too, but kept fighting through it to still be a 1st team All American.
