First Take - Confidence In The Panthers Was The Topic

Stephen A said he hasn't lost confidence because he's seen the Panthers let teams come back before. They find a way to win. The way this season is going it seems like it'll be Cam vs Brady

Skip however said he has lost a little bit confidence because we continue to let teams come back and this is all new territory for a team still in the middle of finding their identity. He also said the pressure no longer is on Cards after winning and they can now come into Carolina as the underdog

Nothing Skip says means a thing to me.  No respect for that guy when it comes to evaluating other NFL teams.  He gets a small small amount of fan respect for sticking by his beloved cowboys (even when they are god awful) but even then, he falls into the delusional category..

First Take is retarded and I know Skip just says this stuff and they argue because dumb people watch it but regarding the pressure.... It's the same for both teams. Win, go to the Super Bowl. Lose, go home. Skip is still pissed we ended his team's season when TD knocked Romo out.

Yawn (but nothing against the OP)!

We know what that show's all about (dissenting opinion, manufacturing content).

Exactly.

Like I said numerous times before, First Take is a scripted fake debate show.

I don't know why some people don't realize this since it's so obvious.

Yeah we get that.

But this time, they didn't even say anything crazy.

Even Skip had to try hard to be dissenting, and it still wasn't that hard. So you can tell they were trying, and didn't really believe what he was saying.

That's why I said it. It wasn't even worth mentioning this time.

Let's be honest. Sometimes they're good at it. But not this time. LOL

    • He’s also 21 years old. I don’t know why fiz is so eager to label him a bust
    • It’s wild to me that so many of you guys are threatened by the idea of an opposing team fan who is polite in 2025. He’s been posting here on and off for years, usually when our teams play each other which hasn’t been for a while. I’d maybe understand this treatment if it was a falcons or saints fan, but packers fans in general are one of the nicer fan bases as long as you aren’t another NFC north team (especially the bears).
    • Some players excel on the big stage, while others freeze and succumb to the pressure. I’m not convinced Cam took a dive. I think he didn’t handle the stage very well. The pressure got to him and he folded. He wouldn’t be the first quarterback or player to struggle in a Super Bowl. Two HOF examples - John Elway and Jim Kelly. The 2002 MVP, Rich Gannon, threw 5 interceptions against the Bucs. Poor performances happen.  Unless of course you believe all these players threw the games they played in, but if that occurred, surely someone by now would have admitted taking a dive? 🤷‍♂️
