Broncos enjoying the underdog role

I'm not sure this is something we should make light of as it's something our team has used as motivation all year long and we've seen how it has worked.

I'm not saying I think we're going to lose because of that, but it's not something I would dismiss either, not with how Rivera has used it to motivate his guys all year long and has openly spoke about how it has helped the team stay focused this year.

I said they would beat the Patriots. I also said I would rather see Peyton vs. our defense than Brady. Broncos fans can kick rocks.

And let's not forget that we were treated in much the same fashion. You can't beat so and so. You won't beat them in the playoffs. I don't see them slowing down Fitzgerald/Brown/Floyd. 17-1 now. With much more convincing wins against IMO more talented teams.

I can't remember what Denver board it is was on but someone started a thread about how they could have designed runs for Peyton Manning or something as a wrinkle for us to plan for.

Important to remember folks....marijuana is legal in Denver.  Don't do drugs kids.  You say crazy things.

Could you imagine what would happen if Peyton took off? Their passing offense is built around the quick throw, so our LBs won't be dropping near as deep, and we know how quickly Luke, TD and Shaq can close ground. Holy moly...I don't know if PM would walk away from that one.

Yep this team is at its best when they're the underdog. I feel like so many here and just talking to others have already chalked up the W.

I really hope all the negative comments made about this team throughout the year is enough to carry them through these last 2 weeks.

Denver didn't get to the SuperBowl by accident. They have a HOF QB playing in his last ever game which will have those guys amped up to make sure he goes out on top. Plus that embarrassing SB loss from 2 seasons ago is still fresh in their minds.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
