What Broncos Fans Are Saying

Just checked out Denver boards and it was unbearable. "cam isn't the first to be able to run and throw look at what Mike Vick did in philly under Reid" "why is he acting like he's the first black qb DO THESE PANTHER FANS AND CAM NOT KNOW WHO DOUG WILLIAMS IS!?!?!?

"cam said people don't like him because he's black, what a race baiter"

"look at these gifs of Von Miller in 2012 sacking cam"

" cam is not that good, I mean this is only the first year he's had a good season"

Let me break it down for you ass clowns if you're reading this

1. Nobody has seen a qb in this league who has passed for 35 tds and ran for 10 tds in a single season. This isn't a fluke, this is a guy growing, developing in a system for 4 years (you know like Peyton manning developed and grew before he really began to shine and put it together IN HIS 5TH YEAR)

2. Nobody has seen a qb with the running style of cam. He can jump over defensive lineman and linebackers for tds. He can juke dbs and run for first downs. He can stiff arm and truck linebackers. Look at the tape. He is 6"6' 260lbs and runs a 4.5 40. No qb has ever ran with that style like that ever. Mayyyyyybe elway but not even really close at all.

3. Cam can make all the throws with anticipation, finesse, speed, and precision. It had been on display this entire season. Watch the games, y'all haven't I know. The shoddy mechanics are overblown. He does throw off his back foot occasionally when lineman are in his face but to act like he does this 95% of the time is retarded and you sound retarded. I mean the dude had what 2 or 3 5 passing TD games? Stfu

4. Cam comes from a hip hop culture in college park, Atlanta Georgia. He doesn't act a certain way that other black qbs have at this stage. Either is ok, neither is wrong. And nobody has seen that personality and culture displayed on the football field in someone who is this talented and who is winning at the highest level. It scares some ppl. That's why you have Tennessee moms writing letters. That's why you have old people bitching about stupid poo. That was a microcosm of the issue some people have with Cam and what he was speaking to.

5. Cam knows his history. For christs sake Warren moon is in his corner and helped train him pre-draft with George Whitfield.

6. fug you. And get ready for dabs and smiles bitches.

I've made a couple of posts over there today and seem to be engaged with someone who is either trolling me or a blind homer. The general lack of knowledge about Carolina's actual on-field performance vs. the typical talking points has made me appreciate the league-wide knowledge that a number of folks on this board have.

Did I hallucinate Randall Cunningham?

Randall only threw for 30 or more TDs twice (30 in 1990 and 34 in 98) and only threw more than 20 3 times (23, 24, and 21 in 87-89). He also maxed at 6 rushing TDs in 88, so his best year was 35 total TDs in 1998 (34 passing, 1 rushing).

While you didn't hallucinate, Randall never had a year like Cam, and unlike Randall Cam looks poised to keep doing it.

trolling angle?

Fascinating paranoia you possess looking for perceived negatives where none exist.

and all because you base your self esteem in a team in the nfl on suday.

Nobody's paranoid about you, doofus. They're laughing at you.

This pitiful attempt to come back and troll pretty much cements that we own you, seeing as rather than actually doing something worthwhile with your time you'd rather come here and desperately try to dampen our enjoyment.

Except you can't...

We're on Cloud Nine right now, and the only thing that you're actually accomplishing here is to give us an opportunity to rub your nose in the fact that our team beat your team twice and now they're sitting at home because of it.

And to top it all off, all you can think to do is come here and try to bug people. Pathetic effort there in that instead you've given us something else we can smile about instead.

So hey, thanks for adding to the fun, even though that wasn't your intent.

And again, we own you.

Have you read this forum. LOL

Yup, for about 11 years.

Below is one of the first things I came across over there....

I would like to see some support for the best DL duo in the league for Carolina?

Broncos NT
Sly Willams - 24 tackles, 3 sacks

Panthers NT
Star louei - 22 tackles 1 sack

Here is Dwan Ewards - 13 tackles 1 sack. Also Kyle love at 19 tackles 3 sacks.

What am I missing?

    • So the last guy who had the job got hired by his former team directly into a role he has no direct experience in?
    • Hard to pass up millions for a couple of days work per week for a coaching gig in the NFL that is 60-80 hours each week during the season and a more relaxed 50 hours a week during the off season. Yeah, I'd love to see him as our DC but hard to see him giving up the cushy job there if he gets it. And he's going to be a great commentator for the network.
    • Really, I think that is where negotiations come in. If you've got a QB getting you to 10 wins but statistically he's not a great performer, then you say look you can take $22 million or you can try it on the market. Because let's face it, out there, any leadership skills that we're seeing aren't going to be on the table, it's just going to be performance and that lands him in the QB2 market, which is much, much less lucrative (although any of us would love that money).  No one is saying that Bryce will be a $50 million QB, barring something short of a miraculous jump. I'm just saying that if we are winning somehow with him at the helm, then it would be fuging stupid to dive back into the rookie pool all over again. Let's say we do hit the 10 win mark, heck, let's call it 11 and a second round in the playoffs. I think we can all say that would be a really uplifting result and one that should be doable if we have good play. What do we do then? Here's what I would offer if I were Morgan and Tepper. $25 million a year for 3 years, each year with up to $10 million in incentives for touchdowns, wins, playoff depth, being under 10 interceptions, completing a full season, passing yardage milestones, taking less than 15 sacks. Look, Bryce isn't a Ferrari, he isn't a Corvette, or a mid-level BMW. He's probably a new Toyota Sienna that will definitely get you somewhere and bring the whole team along with it, no fuss but not a lot of pizazz.  And really, it's about the destination, not about what drove you there.
