Let's talk about Ted Ginn Jr.

Who knows what Gman will do?

I think Ginn is safe... KG at #1, Funch at #2, Ginn at #3 or possibly #4 if we pick up an FA.

Ginn is also a reliable weapon at PR, something we need.

Wouldn't hurt my feelings to get a smaller speed/quick type WR (think Smitty or Edelman) that can play the slot with our two towers of terror outside and Olsen inside at TE.

Adding Alshon doesn't follow this teams philosophy on how to be a super bowl team. Our offense doesn't really need a big signing WR. We are aleady good enough in that area. Improving on the OL and pass rush would have made a big difference in the super bowl. Goes back to what Gettleman says "defense wins championships, offense scores points". This was proven in the superbowl.

I think he stays. In 2013 we had Smitty, then Ginn and then a bunch of garbage. This season Ginn had 97 targets vs 68 in 2013. Our WR corps will be much better next season and I could see his targets being reduced to around 30, with KB and Funchess getting the lion's share. Les targets = less drops but he can still be a weapon to stretch the field and return punts.

Ginn is fine! In an ideal world, he is your #4 WR as long as he fields punts. He did well for the year! However, I do see DG signing a solid vet that can do incredible amounts of coaching assistance to replace JG....I just don't know who that guy would be!

But make know mistake about it, plenty of room to improve our passing game. Philly is coming along well, however, I think drafting a Philly type player with an improved skill set/speed and warrants double teams takes our O-Line to another level.

I think the most impactful thing to cause a massive improvement on our Offense would be signing Dwayne Allen! Solid blocker that is a good receiving threat! He gives us 2 improvements for the price of one!

No.

Ginn will be back. Personally i dont think we need Alshon..

Benjamin, Olsen, Ginn, Funchess and Brown..

We good..

Ginn and Brown are #4/5 Wrs so "We good" until someone gets hurt...

That's why we need to bring in a real #2 or #3 if we dont' feel Funchess is a true #2.

Ginn and Brown are bottom of the barrel/roster WRs Ginn had 10TDs cool so did Cotchery before...but he's not a 10TD EVERY year guy like Benji....need more top of the depth help at WR but keeping Ginn is fine.

The 2015 Carolina Panthers ranked 24th in PASSING OFFENSE. And that is with the damn MVP. If Newton was an average QB, our passing offense would probably be much, much, much worse.

I assume that's by yards?

Very misleading statistic for the 2015 Panthers.  We got so many short fields because of our takeaways.  I think I am correct in remembering that we led the league in terms of # of drives started in opponents territory.

Also, we throw the ball less than any other team, having the highest % of rushing plays.

We DID lead the league in TDs per game, and were 3rd in passing TDs per game

http://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats/team-passing-touchdowns-per-game/2015/

We were 3rd in Net Yards Pass efficiency

Doesn't sound to me like we had any big problem with our passing game in 2015.  Just have to know what metric to use to measure it accurately.  In 2015 given so many short fields, passing yards didn't really matter.  Scoring did.

He's not getting cut, but he will be demoted. He just doesn't catch the ball consistently enough at the end of the day. Teddy needs to go back to being a 3/4 situational speed threat not someone you count on every snap. I would love to see us draft someone to groom and fulfill that role.
