Oh jeremy sometimes i wonder about you, you are entertaining this far to much.  Just let it go people are going to have their opinions about this situation and there is nothing wrong with it. I am on Cams side, but at the same time this is yet another opportunity for him to learn and grow.  Its a little bias to say that he couldnt of handled the situation better, but at the same time this dude is a competitor unlike any weve seen in decades, so he gets a break in my book.  There is a good possibility he could be sitting at home wishing he had handled it better but i am sure he has accepted it and moved on,  so should we.

This is the truth honestly.  Cam is a great player.  He does a lot of really great things for the kids in the area, and legit cares about them.  I think what pisses off most Panthers fans, is the fact that he does great things like that, but they only focus on the negative.  

As far as him coming off as an arrogant douche, more specifically to those on the outside... he definitely does.  You ever listen to the player phone interviews on the team website, before a game?  Listen to a few of them, and then go to the opposing team's site, and listen to Cam's.  Then imagine you're the reporter that's doing that interview, or another team's fan listening to it... holy poo.  

I love the guy, but anyone that doesn't have him on their side, is going to have a burning hate.

there are so many examples of athletes who are flawed individuals with substance abuse problems, domestic abuse problems, ped use problems. Or they get caught in a ridiculous scandal. The Yankees have had players with those kinds of problems. Most sports franchises have. But Cam Newton walks off a press conference and it's like he's the worst role model. So is being a good role model playing the part of a gentleman and having vices that eventually come to light, or is it being who you are as someone who has nothing to hide like Cam? If you applaud these degenerate phonies and rail Cam every chance you get, you're probably a spoonfed pleb who needs to re-evaluate their values.

In regards to Russell Wilson, he's a robot .. his pressers go the same way every single time.  So no, I don't think winning the year before had anything to do with it.  

Cam is basically doing what Richard Sherman did in 2013.  Both are at the top of their respective positions, both are young and easy to market to the younger audience, both have VERY divisive personalities .. I bet if you polled this site today, many would STILL hate Richard Sherman because of how he acted after the NFC Championship game.  Conversely I bet 99% of this board would love Cam Newton.  It is what it is.  

Frankly - I think its refreshing that a player in 2016 is actually not afraid with showing some damn emotion win or loss.  Could Cam have handled his presser a little better?  Absolutely .. but the man is human.

Couldn't agree more with this right here. Look at interviews around the league and they're all the damn same football robot responses. "We didn't execute as well as they did. They scored more points, so they won the game."

This is why I appreciate players like Cam, Sherman, et al. They're not afraid to act like actual human beings.
